Family supper! I went with the Rib dinner special; 4 ribs, choice of two sides and bread. I went with the corn salad and mashed potatoes and gravy. I regret nothing about my decision and look forward to goi g back for more.
So good! A taste of Texas right here in Az. BEST indoor wall and ceiling decor which takes me back to my younger days growing up the Lone Star State. Fried okra, dinner salad, crispy fish and potatoes alongside cole slaw, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, all served with biscuits with honey butter. A menu with something for every palate. Please make sure to leave room for pecan pie and ice cream!
Just ok. Food and drink were all mediocre except the prime rib which was tasty. Atmosphere very much"old bar." The best thing about the place an the reason for 3 star instead of 2 is the service. Fast and friendly.

We were definitely let down. My wife loves Chicken Fried Steak, so when I saw this place has sold about 1 million of them, I added them to my list. First the prices you see on line are way off, the $12.95 dinner Country Fried Steak is actually $21.50 and the $12.95 Catfish dinner was actually $17.25. I must say both were way, way too much food, they could easily cut portion sizes and prices. The decor that looked interesting on line is actually dirty, stained and really old, in a non-charming way. The food was okay, I think maybe this place is just past its prime. The servers were really nice, helping each other out by refilling our drinks and such.
Did not match other reviews-we came because of the other reviews and we were hungry. We were so disappointed-my wife did not like the chicken, masked potatoes or gravy. I had the brisket and it was way over done, borderline tough and not tasty at all. Waitress was attentive but nothing could help this food-perhaps they are resting on the past laurels but we did not enjoy it at all
We had a party of 5. First time there for all of us. I guarantee it won't be our last time there!! The food was spectacular!! My steak was the Best I think I have ever had!! The staff was phenomenal, pleasant, and just nice!! I can't say enough good things about this place!!!
As a Texas Girl, I’m critical about chicken fried steak and this place nailed it on the head! Loved the food, the vibe and our server was super nice and helpful when ordering. This place made me feel a little closer to home especially with the huge portion sizes!!
Lunch specials are great! Their chicken fried steak is amazing. Nicole the bartender is the best.....MAN! And they honey for days!!!
Yum delicious smoky prime rib. Soft biscuits. Crunchy salads and creamy dressing. Mashed potatoes like mom's with the best white gravy. Lots of things on the walls eye candy. Great and speedy service.
