Mondays are half off margaritas and 20% off tacos on Taco Tuesdays. Tried out the pastor and carne asada - the vote is carne asada by far. Good flavor and good size taco all around. Salsa bar is not as functional but it works - no green salsa which a bummer and the had two red salsa that don’t taste like like salsa - how does that happen. Deeper red salsa lacked flavor and the lighter one seemed like it was watered down which is weird. Nonetheless carne asada is the go to if I ever revisit.
Tacos smaller than the palm of your hand, sure okay small tacos but super bland asada and Al pastor and expensive shrimp taco only had 2 small shrimps. If you think the salsa makes the taco your in for a surprise because the salsa is terrible. To top it off the customer service was bad. Only thing fresh was the ice. I don’t understand why it has so many great reviews, never coming back.
Omg, their food is delicious! Amazing staff and management. This is definitely a place me and my friends love to come to eat and hang out when we are hungry.
Delicious food, their employees though suck I was so close to asking the girl if she hates her job to quit. I wanted to speak to her manager so bad my wife stopped me from doing so. People should be blessed they have a job and work with at least a fake smile and willing to serve people. After having this place several time and having the same girl help us we will never come back here. We are not asking for FREE FOOD! We are paying for our food for god sake.
Decent little place. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is smaller so trying to navigate around or getting checked in with the hostess can be a challenge. Especially when they put the salsa bar right next to the host stand. The staff/service is okay, definitely not the greatest or worst but seem a little short staffed and unorganized. I will givw this place another try because the birria tacos were delicious. Just remember these are smaller street tacos so make sure to order enough! Totally worth it though.
Unprofessional staff, unfortunately I keep coming back because the food is actually good but they can’t get my order right. I’m always missing something and the wait is ridiculous. The manager/ owner doesn’t seem to concerned since I’ve called and shared my concerns multiple times. This could be a great and thriving place if they took the time to train their staff properly and keep the restaurant clean.
Carne asada tacos are delicious,especially with the flour tortilla. The queso tacos are okay. Really good salsas.
Dirty salsa bar and tables greet you as you enter. I ordered a small single person order of tacos. After 30min of waiting, no communication, and no leadership in the restaurant I asked for a refund. They honored this and gave me my money back.Two stars for claiming to have the best tacos in Phoenix, but not having a decent restaurant or staff in place to fulfill on the promise. The 7th Street corridor is full of amazing restaurants, this is not one of them. There are also countless other tacos options available that can fulfill a basic taco order in a normal amount of time.Ownership, I hope you see this comment. If you can't fulfill a basic order on a slow Saturday, it says a lot about the dysfunction that exists, and is a clear risk for you.
Food was great! Keto, asada tacos were great. I will definitely be coming back.
