Bar tenders were rude from the get go. Guess I wasn't a regular.I drink maybe 3 to 4 times per year. Not much. Typing this review after being cut off from the bar for being to intoxicated. Which never happened to me so I didn't really know what that meant, as naive as that sounds. I don't know if I look funny or did something wrong. Wasn't intoxicated. Was trying to get there but was cut off before. I guess I respect them for watching out for people's safety, but I had no problems there so it was kind of a shockPlenty of other dive bars that will let me drink my oh so important 2 or 3 times per year. Won't be back here.
This place is a local secret and I feel uncomfortable telling ?? It's a perfect dive bar in EVERY way. Bartender Crystal is amazing!

I've never had a bad time at the Swizzle Inn. The bartenders are cool, the patrons are great and the drinks are stiff. Everyone I've run into at this place is friendly, fun, and just want to have a good time. It's a tad on the small side but that's what makes it a dive bar. My only complaint is the juke box selection, it's got some jams, but I don't think it's been updated in decades. All good though, because it's the type of place I don't think it would be hard to get a sing a long going. So, if you're looking for some sizzle head to the Swizzle....Inn!
This is a very cool, little neighborhood bar with a mixed crowd. It is truly reflective of the neighborhood. Eclectic, retro, comfortable, and friendly. Strong drinks, pool table, dart board, this is the kind of place that you just like to come and have a good drink, relax and enjoy with friends
Such a great little dive bar and a welcome break from the hipster hangouts along Uptown Phoenix. Old school cool, reasonably priced drinks from bartenders with the properly weighted pour hand, and friendly service with equally friendly patrons.
I will never go back to this place ever again. I literally watch these two female bartenders refuse service to this black guy for no reason. I was shocked because he literally did nothing wrong and I was sitting there the entire time. They even threaten to call the cops on him. Who ever these two female bartenders are showed zero class and have really bad attitudes. I wont be returning.
