Good BBQ. Everything tasted really well prepared.
Some of the best BBQ I've had in Arizona. Friendly folks who seem to care about their customers as much as their food. We were greeted upon entering the door, made to feel welcome and had pleasant conversation before and after the meal. During said meal, intelligible communication was difficult due to assorted groans, moans and finger-licking.All meats (brisket, baby back ribs, pulled pork) had great textures, moisture, tasty bark and a solid smoke profile that was present but not overpowering — all hallmarks of solid BBQ. The sauce they use is inoffensive, sweet but not excessively so and has a bright enough flavor to really complement the meats served.Surprisingly, all sides that I tried (Mac & cheese, collards, potato salad) were delicious, which is rare since often the sides at a BBQ joint sometimes feel like an afterthought. Clearly the experience of the owners as both running a food truck and catering has hined their skill and expression of quality Mississippi BBQ.Even with exorbitantly higher meat prices in the current economic market of Spring 2022, I still feel that I got a good value based upon the quantity and quality of the food. No complaints to offer aside from the fact that I wish my belly was bigger so that I could've eaten more and prolonged the joy.Heartily recommended and will frequent regularly.
My friends….get here, however you do it, get here. Every bite is crafted BBQ. We enjoyed tender pulled pork, pork hot link and brisket. Accompanied by Mac n cheese and baked beans. Soped up the sauce with homemade cornbread. YUM!Serious flavor. Next time I’m on the collard greens and sweet potatoes. Oooweee peach cobbler.Like I said, get here!
Brisket was on point as was the Mac and cheese. The ribs were awesome too! I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking some good bbq. My family and I plan to visit again one day soon. Well worth the drive and money spent :)
I stopped by for the first time today for lunch. I have a gluten intolerance so I'm hesitant to try new places but I was in the mood for BBQ. I got to speak to the owner and that was a plus as he let me know what I could and could not have. Nothing out of the ordinary....his sauce is GF, all the meat is GF and the typical sides of collard greens, baked beans and potato salad are GF. I had a two meat plate with pulled pork and brisket and two sides of beans and potato salad. It was a lot of food and it was all great. I will be back.
What a pleasant surprise to find such a locally owned BBQ restaurant of this caliber!There are several really good Bbq restaurants in this area but Sweet Magnolia stands head and shoulders above the rest.And they are local !!
If you love smoked anything like me YOU NEED TO COME HERE! My all time new favorite place to eat now ?!
Second time eating here and NEVER disappoints? This is a REAL smokehouse! Definitely a must.

I literally just walked out the door with my to-go bag about 10 minutes ago and I've already gotten home and inhaled the entire sandwich. I'm assuming it's really good since it was gone in 42 seconds.Would highly recommend. Pulled pork is fantastic
