This was a great find for us. We were looking for a nice dinner place and stumbled upon Superstition Downtown. The mead flight was great!! The two of us shared 12,1oz tasting meads and ordered 2, 5oz glasses of our favorites. I had never had mead before and our server described it to us patiently. The decor was trendy and roomy, with plenty of outdoor seating. Our favorite tapas was the pulpo a la Gallegos. The arancini was delicious as well. We had a few other tapas that were good but ordinary (shrimp, chorizos, lump crab cake). We loved the pulpo so much that we ordered another. Highly recommended.
Absolutely no complaints. The interior is very rustic and modern. Staff is very friendly and accommodating! Food was amazing! And the Mead!!!! We thought about canceling our flight just to continue to enjoy all the food and drinks! Great way to end a trip before you fly home!
Made a trip to Phoenix while visiting Tucson to see some of the local sights downtown. This place has been on my list to try for awhile and what an amazing place! Meads are usually to sweet for me but they have an amazing variety! The bartender was great and offered options on different selections. The food was delicious. I got the pecan salad and steak sandwich. There was so much flavor in every bite. All the staff were attentive and very welcoming. Anyone you came in contact with said hello. I will absolutely come back to visit this place again!
A friend recommended this place to me. My wife and I went and loved it. Great selection of mead and the food is very tasty. Since the first visit, we have been back for more.Good place to take a date.
They have a wonderful selection of MEAD; at least 2 dozen meads available, plus cider and beers.Even if you aren't looking for a drink the food stands alone by itself as an excellent culinary experience.
This place was gorgeous! Amazing mead, fancy dishes, and courteous staff. Definitely expensive, but nice for a night out or a date. We tried the flight of 12 (through Groupon) and the charcuterie board. Both were delightful. Great decor, too, and you can buy bottles of Mead and cider to take home or gift! If you're in the area, check it out.
Great food and drinks, awesome staff, and a fun atmosphere.
The food was amazing. We tried several items. all were good. The best thing was trying the various flights of mead to decide which ones we might want to buy. We had the suggested flights, and then the chocolate based ones.
Although I’ve enjoyed their mead for years, this was my first visit to the Phoenix location.Pros: Incredible mead selection, the restaurant is gorgeous, food was delicious and staff were friendly.Cons: None of the staff wore masks (primary reason for 3 stars) and no other drink options. Mead is great but it was too sweet for one member of our party. It would be nice to have a couple local beers and/or wines so all members of a party can have a beverage that suits them, even if in cans instead of tap.
Amazing happy hour is half off glasses. Huge mead and cider selection with staff super helpful with recs if you need help choosing! Lovely vibeI tried Pyment mead which is made with wine grapes - delicious and flavorful, not overly sweet for the one made with Cabernet grapes.Blueberry spaceship cider is also very good and a more light drink.Food was pretty tasty and you can try multiple options tapas style. Pork belly bao bun was the best
