I love this place, found out about it when I went to meet up with a few of my friends here. Very high quality food, their sushi is one of my favorites here in Phoenix. Good value and quality for the price (especially during times of inflation)Highly recommend this for anyone craving Asian food ??
Take advice from an Asian. It’s overhyped in the reviews. I ordered the Combo Fried Rice and it was just bland. Thank god I added spice and soy sauce in my order because that’s what saved it. It looks appetizing but there’s no flavor profile of any kind. The quality of the Fried Rice from a Chinese restaurant tells a lot about the quality of other foods served. The beef was also really chewy. There was some pieces of hard rice in every bite too. I don’t usually complain about oil in my food but the rice was drenched in oil. The thing I’m most upset about is the portion!! $15 for such a small portion! Trust me there are way better Asian options around, go there. TAKE ADVICE FROM AN ASIAN you won’t regret it ? I usually get Chinese from Phoenix Palace but only didn’t go because it’s far from where I currently am.
This restaurant is superior to many other Chinese restaurants! The food is good, especially the fried rice, the location of the restaurant is perfect for many Phoenix citizens. The organization is really good, and I love everything in this restaurant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Food wasn't bad, some stuff was really good. Yelp said happy hr ended at 7 but they told us 6 so we had to hurry and order. So that was bad plus the waitress was very rude like the whole time it's like seriously it's not my fault your stuff online is wrong. For what we got it was like $65 for about the same price I could've gone to Korean BBQ. Idk if I'd come back the waitress really was rude!
Tasty entrees and good prices. All three dishes we tried were good and the portions were not small. I had the sweet and sour chicken and would definitely get it again.
I have been coming here for years. This particular visit was not the Sun Asia I know. I ordered the orange chicken and the chicken obviously had been fried a few times. I was unable to eat it because it was so dry. I sent it back and got a more fresh orange chicken, but still old. My batter was falling off and to pass it off as a fresh one, they decided to cover it with an incredible amount of orange sauce. Sun Asia, I know there is a pandemic, but don't lose your loyal customers by passing old refried meals onto your loyal patrons. I will return because I am hoping this is not the new normal for them.
One of our favorite go to date night places. Food is amazing. Service is fantastic. It gets better everytime we come. Get the Kiss on the Fire if you like spicy sushi. Soooo yummy!
Great food and really great service, which is hard to find these days. It was busy and took a little while to get our order taken, and shortly after our order was taken I realized I needed to be somewhere before we would finish. Asked waiter if we could get our food to takeout instead. He was very accommodating and actually included an extra free entree. A little touch like that will keep us coming back often! And the food was all delicious!
If you’re Chinese American like me…who’s used to authentic Chinese food, their dishes will be way too salty and sweet and really intense for you. Ask for very mild flavor, at least 1/3 of sauce, salt and sugar when you place the order
Fantastic! Incredible menu. Great sashimi! Excellent hot foods and specials. A great cast of employees from top to bottom. Was so distracted by the food, I thought I had left my phone(was in my truck), they all started to look everywhere, and try to call it. Finally walked me to my truck for one last sweep, and "ring" there it was cowering under my seat! Thank you staff at Sun Asian Kitchen
