Food was excellent as always. Service was good but not excellent. Server made us feel rushed a few times and their was a girl roaming the restaurant with a clipboard and staring at each table to monitor table status. I know this happens everywhere but she would literally make eye contact with you then write somethingâ¦.very odd. We were there about an hour and a half so not like we were camping out.
My family and I dined at Steak 44 for my birthday. Overall, I give the restaurant 3.5 stars out of 5. The food was very good - I really enjoyed everything I ordered: appetizers, steaks, sides and dessert. I would have given Steak 44 4.5 or 5 stars, if it were not for the atmosphere and service level. The atmosphere left a lot to be desired: extremely noisy, music too loud but the most egregious is the fact that there were too many tables and chairs were packed into each space. My husband had his feet stepped on multiple times by servers and customers and another family member was bumped numerous times by servers and staff members because our table was positioned too far out in the aisle. We spent approximately $960 on dinner for six and should not have been packed in like sardines. Last issue was the service: Our server was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. However, he had too many tables to serve. It took him 10 minutes to condiments and approximately 15 minutes to provide the dessert menu. My recommendation to anyone is if you want to go this restaurant, dine there during off-peak days and hours.
Every time my wife and I come to Steak 44 we are more impressed. The food, waitstaff, and ambience is to die for. Thanks to all of you envolved to make our experience the best it can be.
Steak 44 is one of those special restaurants that you MUST experience at least once if not several times. I have experienced this restaurant at least 4 times in the last two years. The service, food, ambience is superior. Every attention to detail is maintained. This last time was to celebrate 2 birthdays. The morning of the reservation I received a call from the restaurant asking for the names of the birthday guests. At the end of the meal - they brought out 2 separate desserts with happy birthday (special name) on each plate. Super attention to detail. Even if you are not celebrating something special - the restaurant will provide you with a memorable experience!!!
We celebrated our 8th year anniversary and truly had a wonderful time. Andres made our experience that much better! We enjoyed a bottle of champagne and delicious waygu steaks, in all seriousness- do not skip on the corn crème brí»lée! The service and food is top notch, canât wait to come back!
Always great, disregard most other steak houses in Scottsdale and go here! You wonât be disappointed
