They always seem understaffed or like it's new people who can't keep up with even a couple of guests. I avoid this location. Last time I went because it was the only one on the way to the airport that accepted mobile orders, so I just left REALY early. I ordered my drink, and another drink without ice, for the person I was picking up so that their drink wouldn't be watered down by the time they made it to the car. At the drive through, 2 cars ahead of me, and 15min later I get to the speaker box. I asked for a cup of ice( so i can add to drink once friend gets to car), the girl said they can't give ice. I asked if I could just buy another drink (I could drink the tea and have ice left over) she said no since it would be for ice. .........???? I didn't have time to explain how starbucks probably wouldn't have minded me buying another drink.

I used to live in this area and went to this location often but stopped due to quality and too long of lines. We are back here visiting, from out of town this week, bought our usuals and the taste was absolute trash. 3 years later and I am reminded once again why I stopped going to this location.Threw the drink down the drain. Waste of money.
I love Starbucks I visit the store every day before work I just don’t understand why I always have to wait in drive tru line for like 30 min just for a drink …..
The customer service Sucks here..Very Rude.. Stand there and watch you wait for your order 5 minutes then tell you to go through drive-thru..Writing a letter to corporate. Unbelievable
Heads up area people - do NOT mobile order Starbucks at 99th & Camelback - they are drive thru only till mid-March.
Why is dine-in closed at every Starbucks!!! This is so incredibly frustrating! Driving around PHX trying to find a place to sit and do homework! I’m on a motorcycle so drive thru doesn’t work!!!!
The 99th & Camelback location have a great afternoon crew. (I usually go around 3ish.) Always patient and attentive to detail, even if the drive-thru line gets longer.
I just moved to the area and this Starbucks is by far the slowest I have ever been to. The line is constantly wrapped around and moves so incredibly slow. There is no way I would have time in the morning to come here with how slow they are. Not only that but they tried charging me more for a little extra sweet cream in my cold brew which I get everyday or most days and I’ve never been charged. They really need to do something with this location. Apparently, they recently got robbed and closed the lobby too so the drive thru line is even worse. I’m sad this location is the closest and slowest around.
I specifically chose this store when ordering online because it said in store pickup was available. When I got there the door was locked and the only option to pick up was to sit through the 35 minute drive through line and by the time I got my coffee it was nice and stale.Thanks, Starbucks
