This was a nice place to stay customer service was really good . It does need some updating there payment system is one thing they should do so your able to use your credit card with just a touch or Apple Pay so it’s more contactless. For the rooms there not bad they are clean a little outdated but comfortable except for the pillows those where really bad very thin. But as a whole I would stay there again.

I’m here on a business trip and they put me in a room above the courtyard. The courtyard is open 24 hours, and two nights in a row, not even weekend nights, a Sunday and a Monday night, there have been people partying in the courtyard late at night. Sunday night I was awoken at 1am, called the front desk, and the same group of people woke me up again at 2am. I called the front desk again who then said they would have security handle it. Please close your courtyard by at least 10 and have quiet hours for future guests. I probably won’t be staying here again if I know I won’t be able to get a good night’s sleep.

GREAT GREAT front desk people. I lost my hearing and the first time checking in (had eye surgery close to this hotel) and the front desk WONDERFUL Women knew sign. I don't. We stayed 2 nights this time. @ weeks later we checked in and there was another Women, 3 wees on the job, that knew a tiny bit of sign. This time, there was an emergency and we had to evacuate due to someone burning popcorn in the Club room! Everyone, from the front desk to the restaurant are super helpful.

This hotel location is one of the most difficult to find. Every time I had to get back to the entrance it was a challenge. The lobby is nice, but the hotel is a bit tired. It could really use an uplift. The only restaurant available the day I was there was the Indigo Bistro with a limited menu. The windows are not soundproof so I could hear traffic, cars revving engines, clanking metal late at night and early morning.

So first the good: the staff was outstanding, and I have nothing bad to say about any of them. The front desk staff was friendly, the maintenance guy was very nice and helpful, the servers and bartenders at the restaurant were great, and even the manager, who I needed to speak to about something was great to deal with. I found the hotel itself fairly clean although I agree with another reviewer who said there was a super strong air freshener smell in the lobby. The patio area was pretty nice, with two fire pits, and from what we could tell, the pool was clean and the kids enjoyed the hot tub a ton. It was plenty hot. Also, you could get around pretty easily by car from the hotel because it was close to a major expressway. The bad: the hotel is in a very rundown area and there is NOWHERE to walk to if you want to get away from the hotel without getting in your car. Now maybe this is just AZ and nobody walks anywhere, but there were no cafes or parks or anything appealing within walking distance and you would not want to walk if there were because the area was very low rent, lots of trash and broken glass along the curbs and sidewalks. People experiencing homelessness are everywhere in big cities, but if that makes you uncomfortable, this hotel has more than its fair share right on the corner. For such an expensive hotel, the rooms were very dated - alarm clock with a charger for an iPod from the early 2000s! And the room decor and fixtures in the bathroom just screamed "remodel me please!" Also, it's hard to believe they still have rooms with 2 double beds and that these have not been replaced by queens. What pair of adults wants to share a double bed in a $200+/night hotel? For what we paid for our room, I would expect something much nicer and in a nicer location.

My overall stay at the hotel was okay but I had a few concerns. The hotel is VERY OLD and it's in need of an upgrade. The location isn't the best. Additionally, my card was incorrectly swiped by the front desk, ultimately resulting in my bank charging me an insufficient fee. I tried discussing this with the hotel management but they chose to not refund me. I'm tired of going back and forth with the hotel management on this issue, but I figured it'd be better to help potential guests realize what kind of service they should expect. I gave them two stars because there are many positive things about this hotel, but I was very disappointed with the service I received from the hotel management.

Re sleep, horrible traffic noise, loud and intermittent air conditioning = lousy night sleep. Bedding not up to Sheraton standards also. Will never return. Marriott Gold member. Frequent Phoenix visitor. Facility is old but reasonably kept up. Poor neighborhood.

**Pools- (1 pool) not running with slide except Sat & Sundays (1 pool) by tennis courts, closed since covid - yet filled (1 pool) chairs need to be replaced, NOT heated & whirlpool jets didn't work. Asked about heat was told Engineer would check - next day - still cold. **Housekeeping only cleans x1 no matter how many days unless you request more - we did request change after day 2 of 4 - got nothing, no clean towels, no extra toilet paper or toiletries. Informed front desk who said they'd bring up towels -- got nothing. **Carpet in hallway clearly not vacuumed since sunday evening it still had sparkles in it from a saturday event. **Bar & both Indigo restaurants, friendly staff, great food & drinks. **People who made it good: Melissa (server) was fantastic as was Robbie (front desk).

Great hotel. Very clean. And they actually have coffee in your room
