After some unfortunate adventuring for food, my husband and I found ourselves at this location that was new to us because some days you just have to know how much of a pizza your dignity will allow you to eat in public.We order takeout from another Spinatos location and have always liked the impressive specialty pizzas, I wanted to try to the Sicilian crust that my usual shop does not have.I absolutely love the Sicilian crust and I discovered that there is a professional golfer that looks like the love child of General Custer and Joe Dirt because they had the masters on at the bar.
Keagan is the nicest most courteous person! He was so kind and friendly as I picked up my take-out order. He even ran and got the door for me on my way out. The pizza was excellent and the Greek salad is next level awesome. Thanks for such great service and food!
The pizza is simply amazing!! Had it first 20 years ago in its Paradise Valley location, and it became my favorite pizza. Moved out of state 10 years ago, moved back and I had it from your Scottsdale location and it’s as delicious as I remember!
My family loves this place. The items with spinach are really distinct. I normally find the pizza sauce too sweet for my tastes. However, we got a Super Six and the saltiness of the meats tapered it down. So I enjoyed the pizza today. The only issue I had was that it was very loud and could not hear people two persons down from me at my table. Not sure why as I have been there before with no problem.
The food here was terrific!! The pizza was cooked perfectly, and came out pretty fast. I also got a salad that had watermelon radishes. I have never had those before and I really enjoyed them. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the other customers. I would give this place five stars if it weren't for that. While we were there two ladies came in with two screaming kids. They were being very disruptive and the staff didn't do anything about it. The kids were being so disruptive that another couple that was sitting in the booth next to them asked to be moved. If patrons come in that are being that noisy and disruptive I would expect the staff to ask them to have their children behave better. But they didn't, and the ladies were encouraging the behavior and laughing every time they would scream. Not appropriate whatsoever.
Update 3/18/2022I have to say I have missed this place in the past two years. The service was better than the last time I ate at this establishment. The food has flavor the garlic bread, house salad, and the 6 item pizza. I will be back to dine in this establishment again.This place has good food but the workers act as if they do not want to work here. It took two minutes to be seated and six minutes for someone to ask us what we wanted to drink. The food is good but the service is not up to par for a chain eatery.
It's ok. Tukee is a tough pizza market, with Zzeek's, Rosati's and Nello's nearby. This place has been here for a while, so it must have its fans. I've been here a couple of times, and it's decent 'Za. I just wouldn't gush about it as other reviews do. They also got all weird when I asked if they have Chicago style pizza (deep dish) for some reason.
A friend introduced me to this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and they were very generous with their toppings. The wait staff was on point as well even though they were full to capacity. It made for a great dinner out.
Great service and amazing thin crust pizza! The personalized mushroom and red onions are my favorite. Their stuffed mushrooms are so delicious !!!
A favorite when we come in to town! Great service, friendly staff, delicious food. Always a great meal, you can’t go wrong. Beware- portions are large, so go hungry!
