Smoked wings are not good. They tasted like freezer old chicken. The skin was not cooked through. Peach Cobbler was good and that is the only reason for the two stars. I will not be back.
I had been to this place back in 2011 (the last time I was in the area). I chose this location as it was the closest to me (21 miles) but I wanted something a little different. Did not disappoint in terms of side dishes. The area is a lot more built up since I was last here and much busier but worth the drive. The Texas toast and peach cobbler is were outstanding; perfectly toasted bread with just the right amount of butter. The cobbler was perfection, not too sweet and not tart; another perfect Southern treat. Haven’t tried the smoked wings yet but they smell awesome. The sweet tea is that good old fashioned down home Southern tea that makes you go into a diabetic coma.
Girl up from was acting very strange running through the restaurant (dramatically) because she was busy but that just wasn’t the case. At one point she was flinging cup holders into the trash from far and missed right into a lady’s neck who was sitting behind the trash can. Could here the employees cussing and joking around in the back. Complaining about it being busy instead of working. The girl also kept SLAMMING the swinging doors to the kitchen (not to mention the dancing and cursing in the kitchen once she got backThere) Very weird experience. I’d comment about the food but we’re pushing 45 minutes and were still waiting. Bad look for a nice area.UPDATE: Waited one hour and the girl that was acting strange said we’re out of pulled pork. So no food. Horrible experience

This place is a must try and that's our new fav now. Food is beyond delicious and staff very friendly. Cleanliness is a 5 Star given. I highly recommend this place
Food is ok. Taste is pretty generic. Significant delay in receiving our pick-up order (not scoring based on the delay because I know it happens, just letting it be known)
Don’t waste your money, came here for dinner to go. One star for the cashier who was consistently apologizing to all customers about what they ran out of or don’t sell anymore and was genuinely trying to help. Gave free drinks to compensate but only to find out all 3 tea canisters were empty. Wait time was about a half hour and other people in line were getting skipped including myself as orders came out. Finally get my order get home to a burnt dry burger, dry ribs, incomplete order. I was too angry to go back for my correct order so definitely not recommending.
The server who took our order was super nice and patient while we decided what to get. The food was delicious. I got the pulled pork sandwich and loved it. The honey bbq sauce and mustard barbecue sauce were great.
I ordered the sampler. I was not impressed. The ribs were dry and kind of hard, shredded pork meh. The chicken was ok. It was way overpriced.
I'm not much of a wing head, but Shane's has some of the best lemon pepper wings around. Always grabbing a boneless wing basket when I'm craving some delicious chicken in the area.
