For the last 2 weekends, I've been in burger heaven. I live in the West Valley so I was excited to find a burger place that was not a big chain restaurant all over the valley. At first bite, I questioned if I was eating real meat. It's real meat! This place did not disappoint. The burger (shack burger) and fries (cheese fries) were made to order and fresh. The restaurant itself was clean and the decor was nice. I will say if you are tall, watch the metal foot under the table. It hurts like hell. Although it wasn't super busy, the customer service was great. I noticed that my husband was given a nickname for his order. I thought that was super cool. See picture. All in all, great experience and when we are in the area again, we will definitely be back.

This was my first time having shake shack and I am impressed. The burgers are really amazing. I didn’t get a shake but next time I will be having their shakes and a burger. It was very filling and quick service. They had our order correct and we enjoyed the fries and cheese. Higher end burger but worth it and they serve wine and other adult drinks.

Fries were okay. Didn't have much seasoning on it. Just salt. My added ketchup idea for more flavor brought the taste up. The cheese on the burger looked and tasted cheap. It was really yellow and felt kind of hard on my fingers. I didn't know I had to order tomatoes with lettuce separately so I did. But at no cost. The tomatoes tasted like tomatoes. The lettuce could have been a better quality as it looked like it was beaten inside the bag it was in. So it had marks on it. The patty was very slim so the burger ended up breaking apart. Chopped pickled cherry peppers tasted fine but personally I don't commened them on the burger. More shake sauce would have been just fine. I give the burger a 5/10 all in all. After the burger I decided to try out one of their popular milkshakes. Chocolate Churro Shake. After the first sip I immediately tasted the cinnamon crumbles. The cinnamon was overpowering at first. But shortly after some sips i started to taste the waffle cone crumbles with less of the cinnamon flavor and more of a hot cinnamon back bite flavor. Little by little I did begin to taste the dark choclote from the sides of the cup. The Shake wasn't very thick. But easy enough to drink it through straw. I give the Shake a 5/10 over all.The service was great. I give it a 3.5/5All in all my review speaks for it self. I would still comeback and try some of the other things on the menu. The burger themed restaurants are vast in Phoenix so its a competition as who can offer the exceptional burger tasting experience. That being said I give Shake Shack a 3/5.

I am being generous with 2 stars. We only come here because we have gift cards for this place. We don't care for the menu or the food or especially the service that was lacking tonight. I went and ordered dinner for 4 for takeout. The bill was roughly 60 bucks. When I got home, I was looking forward to eating with the family. As I unpacked the bag, I realized that a hot dog and a 10 piece chicken bites was missing. I called the restaurant to find out that talking to anyone there wasn't an option. The recording ensured me that I could be called back within 24 hours. I left a message about my issue and proceeded to drive back to the restaurant. 12 minutes one way in 110° heat. I show the same employee who packed my order my receipt and told her what was missing and she walked over and pulled those 1/2 hour old items off the dispenser, bagged them and handed them to me with a muted apology. That's horrible service. That's mediocre food. That's a high price to pay for same. And again, 2 stars is generous. Don't go here and maybe a better option will eventually occupy that property.

We waited about 45 minutes for our food, there were only 2 customers ahead of us and both had small orders as well. The food was delicious, but extremely disappointing. I think if we hadn't waited so long we may have felt differently. The fries were delicious, but cold. The burger was also delicious, but very small and definitely overpriced. The burger was basically a glorified slider. The shake was delicious. Overall a delicious meal, but it was cold, overpriced and the wait for it was long. We definitely left hungry and unsatisfied.

First time trying this place and it was so good!! Burgers. Drinks. Cheese fries (that sauce though) and the kiddo got chicken strips. Everything was great.

Ordered ahead. Food was good as always. Parking is a bit tough especially at lunch time. Would recommend and visit again

Overly expensive, the hamburger was salted to death, fries were limp. The service was so bad the order-taker was too busy leaning on the counter playing her phone to take an order. The counters and tables were messy with scraps and litter that none of the staff were bothering to police up. The shake wasn't too bad, but for the price it should have been much better. Avoid.

outstanding food... it was my first time visiting and I totally enjoyed it... great job. I will be back

This is a tough review. I love Shake Shack. Giving them a 2 star review is difficult but it has become a necessity due to inconsistency. The last three times I have ordered to go, I have been been shorted at least a burger. I know, I should have caught it (in my defense, they were rather large orders). The food is fantastic but I would highly recommend checking your order before you leave to go.To management, the lack of quality assurance is troubling. I would love to have a neighborhood go to place but the inconsistency is frustrating. To the credit of your employees, anytime an order has been found to be incorrect, they have remedied the issue. Still, the inconvenience of having to wait 10 minutes after my original order was provided or having to return to the restaurant to pick up food for my family has moved from an inconvenience to infuriating. Finally, to corporate, it is ridiculous that you can not order more than 5 burgers at a time through the application. This convenience alone would have cut down on the time I have had to wait and would absolutely have prevented this exasperated review.
