This year, I actually remembered birthday rewards were a thing BEFORE my birthday was over!I researched a few of my favorite places, saw that Schlotzsky's offered a free small sandwich on birthdays, drove about 70 blocks to the nearest one, and went through the drive-thru to ask how to redeem my birthday rewards, and I’m told that I need to download the app to use it. So, I park and download the app, so as not to hold up the line. After downloading and being sure to enter my birthdate, I closed and reopened the app a few times, but no rewards showed up. So, I went inside to see if the folks working could help me figure it out. The guy working the register poked through my app (with my permission) and couldn't find it, just kinda shrugged and said something to the point of 'Huh, that's weird.' and that was it.I work in food service, so I get the hesitance. People abuse free stuff all the time. I offered my ID to prove my birthday, but he had zero interest in even trying to meet me halfway. I'd really been looking forward to this, it put a real bad taste in my mouth, and I'm not sure I want to come back any time soon. Chipotle next door, however, was super nice and even gave me an extra free queso I'd fully planned on paying for!I'm not mad, Schlotzsky's. I'm just really disappointed.
Call me crazy, but I really like to get pizza at Schlotzky's. It's pretty tasty
Thank goodness I'm a picky eater or I would have eaten this! I went to take the tomatoes out and saw a staple in my sandwich ?? Anyone else would have swallowed a staple! Couldn't eat it at all because I was scared there could be more.
I highly recommend! My food was ready on time, beautiful smiling staff ready and willing to help. The sandwich was outstanding, just how I ordered. The ingredients were fresh and of very good quality! Can't wait to go back! Thanks!!!
Service was friendly and quick, portion sizes are huge...worth the money ?!
The food here is really good for the location it’s in and Kaylee is fav employee but all the employees I’ve felt with have been pleasant. The fiesta chicken is my favorite but sometimes the club is good too.
Love their mini bons they are incredible with Carnell on top of them.
Normally, I like Schlotzky's. I really do. However, my last visit there DIDN'T leave a good taste in my mouth. Literally. On a previous visit, I was bombarded with ads to get their app. And if I did, I'd get a free entree with purch of chips and drink. Great! So I got the app, set it up, and I had 14 days in which to redeem the offer. Fast forward about 12 days later, I'm back at Schlotzsky's to redeem the offer. So I'm ordering my meal and, to redeem the offer, you have to tap the redeem button and that starts a countdown. There's no going back or canceling once the redeem button has been hit. Once the time limit expires, the offer is gone for good. It ain't ever coming back. The problem was, the cashier didn't know how to ring up the order. Try as he may, he just couldn't figure it out. So he called over another young lady to help with the transaction. Meanwhile, there's a line of peeps behind me waiting. Anyway, the young lady had the same problem trying to ring up the transaction. She couldn't figure it out either. All I got for my 25 minutes standing there was lots of apologies for the "inconvenience" while she tried to complete the transaction. She even tried to make the situation better by offering me a totally free meal. But that evil cash register wouldn't let her do that either. Finally, after several minutes of this mess, I calmly let her off the hook and told to not worry about; it's okay. I'll just go somewhere else to get something to eat. And I left. I ended up driving to the mall and eating at Charlys.
Good customer service and clean restaurant. Really recommend the pizzas and flat-breads
Food was fresh. Service was horrible. The girl working the counter was really unhappy to have customers. She seemed extremely inconvenienced to have to ring our order. The manager and possible owner were so busy trying supplies in and out. I doubt they noticed the rude employees.
