I've got what I expected a good Mediterranean salad and a meat ball submarine sandwich, my only objection it's on the french roll if it was lightly toasted it would make a big difference in holding the fillers more consistently. The use of plastic containers and utensils ought to be eliminated and replaced with paper made products. It would make a big contribution to the environment.********************************It was my second time in Sardella's and while as I was waiting for my order I observed the man in charge I guess he must be the owner of the restaurant he impress me the way he run the kitchen, efficiently and smoothly, is he italian? mmmm I'm sure he is and a good one. He prepared my order and the result was very good as he did in my first visit. He inspire me as someone who is dedicated to his craft, not very communicative, but immerse in his cooking.Great cooking is all about the passion and he shows that. The pizza is well balance among all the ingredients and the meatballs subs its as good as you can get anywhere in Arizona, mistakes can be made not because of neglect but perhaps an employee distraction can give a wrong impression of the true intention of this place. Keep the good work.
I ordered wings extra crispy. They were unfortunately not. Very soggy. Asked for extra sauce. Did not receive. They no longer give you any celery or carrot sticks like they used to. Go to Zipps for the best wings!
Pretty good NY style pizza for the Phoenix area. 10 bucks with coupon. It was missing several NY items, but overall good for Phoenix. One side was cooked more than the other also.
Our whole family LOVES Sardella's! When we moved to North Phoenix from Chandler, some of the first neighbors we met shared that Sard lla's was their top choice for local delicious pizza! We pickup pizza and wings on a regular basis for the whole family. Our home is near the 19th Avenue location as well as the Greenway shop. I went there alone a few years ago just to eat pizza, drink a beer, and watch a game. Many mom's can likely relate to the fact that if I am at the house watching a game, I use every commercial break to do laundry, dishes, floors, and even clean toilets! No one at Sardella's expected me to do that while I sat in my booth and watched the game! If you haven't signed up for their club, DO IT! We get free pizza by using our login quite often! Thanks Sardella Family!
Had their pizza today. It was tasteless, absolutely tasteless. The sauce had no flavor. Neither did the cheese. And the mystery meat they call sausage was all dumped in the middle of the pizza, not spread around. It too lacked any flavor. It's a wonder these people are still in business with such a low quality pizza.Save your money and go elsewhere. You won't regret it.
"I'm sorry. My pay doesnt seem to be coming through as immediately as it should. Would you mind comping me lunch and I'll snap some photos and give a nice honest review?""No we can't do that.""Really? Are you sure? I'm a level 7 Google guide and my reviews go to the top of your page, I have over 10 million views on my photos.""No we can't do that.""Maybe you want to check with the manager.""I'm a manager too and we can't do that."I'm not mad at the fact that you "can't do that." What bothers me is that he didn't value me as a customer at all. Or any potential future business I could bring.Value the customer more, you never know how much influence any random patron might have. The level of customer service here is absolutely terrible.Meanwhile the place is empty as could be, at lunchtime, and the 19 year old "manager" looks bored out of his mind.
Hadn’t had Sardella’s in 20+ years, but recently moved back closer to one of their locations. The pizza is still fantastic, been ordering delivery and it’s been crispy and hot. Honestly though, give me some Sardella’s at any temperature and I’m happy, but definitely appreciate that they’ve been quick. Haven’t tried the wings yet, but if they are anything like they used to be then Lord have mercy there isn’t a better pizza/wing combo spot out there for the $$. To the guy suggesting to go to Barro’s pizza instead, please understand that your opinion is ludicrous.Keepin doin’ what you do, Sardella’s.
Great pizza. Prices are high but they have decent deals sometimes. I have one big issue with them. Their delivery drivers are reckless, including one who runs red lights.
My experience was take out.The pizza was better than it looked, (though skimpy on toppings and small for a medium) so that comment will help this review out. The salad (and dressing) was very small and offered little value for the price. After-all, I ordered a caesar salad, (romaine with a sprinkle of parmesan) not a multi ingredient one. When ordering the salad, I was offered chicken, but I declined. After reviewing their menu, I should have said yes to that question, as the price reflected basically the same. Someone who genuinely cared would have educated a new customers. Hence, the service was the worst part! The young lady at the counter shouldn't work with the public. She had zero empathy for my concerns. The entire thing felt like a money grab, and not about passion for good food and hospitality. Now, I understand the Groupon play they have going on.
Used a Groupon I bought online.Got 20 wings, they were great. I got a medium pizza also. The wings were the best!My son liked the Mango/Habenero the best!
