Where are people eating pasta for them to complain about the price? Even Babbo, which is gross and bland has pasta dishes starting at $16.I was worried about it being overhyped when I finally went, but it was absolutely incredible and I still dream of it. Wait is going to be long if you go at peak hours (but really, does no one have common sense? Ofc it’s a long wait.)I went early during the week and there wasn’t a wait to order at all. Absolutely recommend. Absolutely going again.
There’s a reason their wait times are as long as they are, the food is worth the hype. It is also pricey, but if you guys paid attention to their truck its because they actually take care of their employees. I wish I could enjoy this place more than I can financially at the moment, and time wise. But it for sure makes the visits special experiences! Not to mention their delicious drinks, great music and no bs social media attitude. They stand behind what they believe, which I applaud. Bury me in the rigatoni vodka with all the ricotta!!!
I got the Vodka Marinara with a Chicken cutlet and Ricotta on top. Excellent sauce, really well seasoned. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the flavor of the snow peas is great. The chicken had a great crunch to it and well cooked and seasoned. All around the environment is very cool, different, and authentic. They deserve 5 stars because they have great service and the staff is friendly.I forgot to take a pic of the Garlc bread but it was amazing as well, great balance between butter and garlic, plus well cooked and crunch!I also got a great italian soda with passion fruit flavoring! If you're ever in Phoenix, it's worth the trip!
I waited months to finally try this place just to be so let down . My pasta was so hard and clumped together , the only thing good about it was the red sauce was kinda good. I couldn't even finish it, it tasted like someone who was just learning how to boil pasta for the first time. I'll try it once more but dayum the prices are not worth that taste
The wait is a pain, but it’s so worth it. It took us 45 minutes just to get an order in, and then another hour on top of that to get our food, but the pasta is amazing. It’s perfectly cooked and the sauce and ricotta on top are just divine. Also the garlic bread is amazing, and smells so good, even from like 10 feet away. It’s also pricey, but worth it. You have to come here at least once, especially because Pemberton is such a fun place to hang out
On the weekends the wait can be over an hour, time will fly by since it’s a great place to chill and walk around. I’ve been back 3 times and have now had all the variations of the pasta. They are all amazing! Garlic bread and cheesy garlic bread are perfectly on the side.
I went to the Pemberton to check this place out. It has been on my list forever because 1) their claim is it's pasta made the Jersey way, and I honestly haven't had pasta like back home in a while, and 2) this place ALWAYS has a line out the door, so I got discouraged from going. My friend and I went on a rainy day so it was not only beautiful outside but it was dry with lots of open tables. ? I tried the cheesy bread (not pictured), garlic bread, Spaghetti Pomodoro, and the Rigatoni Vodka (not pictured). THEY WERE AMAZING!!! The bread is delicious and great to scoop up all your sauce. The Spaghetti Pomodoro was really good - I added breaded chicken to mine, but added chili peppers to get me to my peak happiness level. The Rigatoni Vodka is what I would highly recommend though. The sauce is a perfect balance of creamy and flavorful - not runny like some other places. They put parts of the pea pod in there with the actual peas to give the extra texture. The staff was super nice and helpful - they also remembered me when I came back for a to-go order (after about an hour and other customers) and had to set up the next order call. I highly recommend a date night at the Pemberton, too, because great lighting and just a good place to chill. Note: Outside of the extra ricotta or cheese you pay for, there is no substitutions or alterations to the dish. I didn't try to ask for alterations because I wanted to respect the sign and their wishes, but just a head's up for those tends-to-submit-food-preference peeps out there.
Saint Pasta is delicious and well worth the wait! Just be prepared they are always busy, but there are plenty of drink and snack options from other vendors to enjoy while you wait! Is Saint Pasta cheap? No. But they actually take care of their employees. Will happily give them my $$ any day in exchange for the greatest vodka sauce.
Get the vodka and don't forget to add Chicken and Ricotta. It won't disappoint.
The location where the truck is located is amazing! The Pemberton has a super hip, chill vibe and provides plenty of space to sit and eat.Their little cart extension where the bar is has a good selection of craft cocktails. I asked for one their drinks without alcohol and was told they couldn't do it? Not sure why... but the bartender was nice and suggested their lemonade which was actually pretty good.I understand they cook everything from scratch, but food did take 30 min to come out. We went early on a Wednesday, and it wasn't too busy... so be prepared to wait.Food was good though! Recommend to add chicken cutlet to your pasta.
