Excellent food and service. Ambiance was perfect, our meal was cooked to perfection and portions were hefty. Would highly recommend and Iâm looking forward to coming back.
Exceptional cocktails. Many unique ones to choose from. Great food with fresh takes on traditional dishes. A must try for dining enthusiasts who appreciate great atmosphere.
We had a fantastic time!!! What an amazing hidden gem in the heart of Phoenix. We loved the speakeasy vibe and the food was fantastic. Our server Jason was knowledgeable about the entire menu and made the experience great! We have already recommended Rough Rider to friends.

I gave 4/5 for service ONLY because I did make a reservation, but we were still asked to move tables once we were already served our cocktails so that was not preferred. However, they served a glass of champagne for free for the inconvenience. Besides that, it was absolutely perfect!
The hosts at the front were not friendly and welcoming. The cold bar area we were seated in was dark and did not have the same level of decor as the main room. The food and drinks were amazing, though. Our server, Taylor was also great. If you come here make sure to reserve the bar or a table, not the cold bar.
A sort of speakeasy: unmarked entrance in an office building w/o a secret password. Great cocktails and apps large enough for a group of 6 to really share. Dark and moody ambiance, but you can still see your food and fellow diners. A little loud, glad we were in the corner and not in the center of the room. Only potential down side is that they would do split checks for our group of 6. Worked out fine for us in the end.
Over priced and under seasoned food. Sadly the only positive experience was our nice server he really tried to make it better. Iâd spend $200 somewhere else.
