Was once recommended to go here by a local. It amazes how many people I talk too have never tried it. You can’t go wrong. Fish, shellfish, steak and did I mention beans, rice and tortillas that are amazing. We come every time and sometimes back for an amazing breakfest. Thanks for all the years of perfect consistency. Amazing food.

Best New Mexican food in Arizona and New Mexico

surprised to only see 19 reviews here.. this place is always packed.. great spot for drinks and late night bites, but the huevos rancheros for breakfast is what brings me in time and time again.. tamales are great too when they have them. Knowing all there is to know about true NM food this place is one of the few to get a good green chile in PHX.. not that tart tomatillo mess but the real deal... smokey Hatch chile

We had a booth in the back that was perfect for chatting with friends in an intimate setting. The food was exceptional with a nice variety of traditional dishes with an original twist. I had the Beef Stroganoff that was amazing, prepared in the original manner with a green chili sauce added to the mushroom sauce. It was wonderful. Every dish had some sort of a southwestern addition that gave it a unique flavor. The cocktails were good and the wine list offered a great variety of wines to choose from. Prices were slightly higher than most but completely in line with any dinner at an upscale restaurant. If your looking for a really nice evening out for dinner, I highly recommend this place.

This place has great atmosphere. Cozy booths in a dark room with a crackling fireplace on a rainy day made it even better. They have several bars and they are all very cool. A party of 6 we ordered happy hour fare, a large order of avodaba ( a braised pork dish-delicious) and their “famous green chili potato. We ordered beef tartare but got the salmon tartare by mistake. We kept it because it was good. We had onion rings (breadcrumb type good) lobster bites ( killer good. Could have eaten 15 of those) Panko crusted asparagus (a little woody but still good). So the special potato was not so special when 6 different palates tell you so. You could not taste green chili at all and it lacked seasoning. Super bland. Service was outstanding. I will be back. A little salt and extra chili in that potato could warrant a 5 on our next visit.

You cannot go wrong going to the Rokerij or next door to adjoining Richardson's. It just depends on the atmosphere you want which to choose. The Rokerij consistently has fabulous dishes, great specials, attentive and professional wait staff, fun bartenders downstairs, is clean and great valet service as well.

Amazing place. The food was great. The environment was upscale but relaxing. The service was excellent. Had the meatloaf and it was fantastic.

My wife and I went here for dinner the night before last and sat downstairs in the bar. The bartender, Adam, who was also our waiter, was great! He remembered our names and gave us personalized and excellent service. The steak tartare, which I had as an entree, was outstanding. My selection of steak tartare clearly rivaled the very best I have ever had in New York City. Although we live in Austin, Rokerij will be a regular stop for us whenever we travel to Phoenix. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Okay, I am absolutely in love with this restaurant! I've had the pleasure of dining here 4 or 5 times. It's so intimate & cozy... Perfect for a date night! The food is always superb too. The last time I had the Pine nut crusted Chilean sea bass with an orange chili glaze with asparagus, & a Green chile potato (a twice-baked and whipped potato stuffed into a roasted green chile). Total mouth-gasm! The blackened sea scallops were also excellent. Good food, good wine, good friends, good service- what else could you possibly want?
