The food is good, the location looks nice if you like that kind of place. The service needs improvement. The waitress just walk over didn’t say “Hi, Hello or anything “ and just put the menu down and want something to drink? I get it that’s it’s not a big restaurant but the staff could be a little friendlier. Not sure if I’ll be back. And not sure about the BIRRIA PUPUSAS.
Great El Salvadoran eats. I especially like the pupusas and tamales. 4 stars because they don't list individual items on the receipt and I suspect they automatically add tip to the final bill (although on the menu it only says for party's of 6 or greater for included tip).
Great food , good service. Pupusas and caldos
Based on a opinion. I gave this location the benefit of a doubt being that I do like to give restaurants a chance and try them out. However as I walked in there was no sort of customer service. They were on their cell phone and didn’t pay any attention or acted like I didn’t matter. And I just want to order. So after standing in front cashier counter one woman decide to finally ask if I needed something. After I was told it’ll be 15 minutes led to 1 hour wait. It between I order drinks and still waited a while. After receiving my food and drinks I honestly didn’t even want it anymore. Food definitely has no authenticity to it. The flavors just aren’t there. Kinda like going to a Taco Bell expecting real Mexican food. Dissatisfied and disappointed.
Good food, but service very poor, I normally order food to pick up ones a week because my wife likes their food, half of the time they don't even answer the phone when they do and say will be ready in 25 minutes I just don't believe it because they don't get nothing done until I get there to pick up and the girls there normally just talking to each other and don't care if customers are waiting
As authentic as it gets. We lived in El Salvador for a short time but became fans of the food. The servers were very nice as well.
We really wanted to love this place, as my husband is Salvadoran and had been craving pupusas. Service was AWFUL, my husband never got his food. He ended up sharing pieces from our plates. The food was mediocre, but the service ruined the entire experience. It wasn’t the cleanliest of places, and honestly it just felt off walking in.There was a huge hole in the Women’s restroom - you could see peoples feet as they went - FROM our table ??.AVOID!
Food was good. Service was HORRIBLE. We went there for the first time, entered the restaurant and waited to be seated. Server told us to seat anywhere and we did. It took a long time for the server to come with the menus and even longer to take our order. We were very hungry. Did not even get the chips!!! I had to ask for them since I saw another table that entered after us get chips! Anyways, food took about an hour to an hour and a half to get to us. Didn’t even get napkins with food. Basically had to ask for everything. Please, owner, do your restaurant a favor and make sure service is better because even though I liked the food I will not come back.
I loved the pupusas and the empanadas and tamales !!! Best pupusas in town. Absolutely delicious. The girls are absolutely welcoming and sweet. The only downside is that the place is very unsanitary… dirty floors and tables. They really need to pay attention to that. Bathrooms are good though- clean and smell good. Other than that, I think I’d continue eating their food but only to go. Give it a try and you’ll judge for yourself.
Food is good. I love the pupusas here. I always order to take but last time we dined in. It took a very long time to get food. Customer service is nice though.
