The restaurant vibe is really cool! The plates are small and meant to be shared. The best dishes we shared were the short ribs (4) and scallops (2). The olives, burrata, prosciutto and marcona cheese tapa was very ordinary and the pecorino dâangio and salami was just ordinary A bright spot- the Smoky Manhattans were fabulous!
I always prefer from-scratch and wood fired places that prepare food organically and cook it naturally. PaLa was no exception. Phenomenal choices of food. A few in my business party helped enjoy this 4 lb Japanese fish (exact name I cannot recall). the white meat underneath the wood fired skin was cooked perfectly, had delicious flavors and was so soft and melted in your mouth. I would highly recommend this for parties of three or four if you're into seafood.Service was beyond amazing and very explanatory of every dish.I will definitely be back at this place next time I'm in Phoenix
How have I never been here before?The vibe is on point.The food is phenomenal. Everything is small so you can try a few things. There is also an upstairs patio area for tapas and delicious cocktails.Tai was the best, she made us feel like welcomed guests.
Very nice restaurant!I was googling places to have a solo dinner on a Fri. night and this popped up as a place I never been to. The menu is unique but depending on what you want, they can make it for you. The venue is "pricey" but the food was tasty.They serve a two pound baked full fish, which sounds and looked (a couple next to me had it) delicious. The only thing I do not like is the fact the sides are sold separately. Yet, I highly recommend this. Can't wait to go back!

Great food. New waitress who tried hard but was still getting her feet under her. Would absolutely send our friends cause the food was delicious, especially the hamachi and sweet potato.
A pleasant place, good food and service. However, the portions were extremely small and very over priced. We won't be back.
Fabulous food that was very unique! Everything was absolutely fabulous!! We had great wine and drinks, and the service was exceptional!! You must visit the upstairs!
