We’ve been to this location a few times and always had great food and service. This last time however, not so much. We sat outside for 20 minutes without any service. There was a table next to us that was being served, the server even looked at us every time he came outside. I finally went inside to ask if we had a server and the hostess admitted that she forgot to tell him he had another table. Typically at other restaurants we’ve been asked “has anyone came to get your drink order?” Or “have you been helped yet?” But we got nothing. Thinking since the hostess is now aware of the situation the server will be right out, that was not the case. It took another 10 minutes for him to come. We ordered our drinks, appetizer and meals at the same time. Every time our server brought something out and we said thank you, his response was “yep”. We rarely saw our server which made asking for things like another set of silverware almost impossible. When I did ask for another drink it took almost 15 minutes to get it. Dessert was out of the question because we didn’t have another hour to spend there. The only thing that did come quickly was the check! Our food was pretty cool, not even warm, and you could tell it had been sitting there for a while before being brought out. I don’t believe this was a kitchen issue, just a server issue. We do enjoy the food at Outback so we will continue to visit, just not this location. It’s worth the gas money and a little bit longer in the car to not be forgotten about by the hostess and treated like an inconvenience by the server. Definitely $120 NOT well spent this time.Update: Spoke with Jim, managing partner. He seemed genuinely apologetic and has offered to make things right. Jim took responsibility for his staff and didn’t try to make excuses for the poor service. Like I stated, we’ve gone to this location numerous times receiving great service and food and I appreciate Jim taking the time to turn this experience into a better one.
Outback was amazing.My mom had the filet and she said it was one of the best she has had in a while which is saying something coming from a chain restaurant! Make sure to eat bread with the ranch it’s the best taste ever

My medium rare steak was medium at best but unevenly cooked with most of it medium well to well done. They prepared me another one that was perfectly cooked.Their steaks are Choice grade, not Prime. The staff was mostly friendly, server Toni in particular was excellent!
Service and price were reasonable. Only one waiter was wearing a mask. Covid number is outrageously high in the valley of the sun. Should have turned around, walk back out.
A great location in suburban Phoenix. Perfect if your staying in the Phoenix suburbs of either Scottsdale or Paradise Valley. The bread and butter is excellent along with the Caesar salad. However the best part of my meal was the 9 oz steak cooked medium rare with fries. The serving staff were extremely friendly.
I mean, I knew what an Outback was, but it had been 15 years since I ate there and I thought it would be fun to go back. My party sampled many appetizers and a few menu items. Turns out, I have not used the actual flavor and everything there was a cream-based sauce with mild flavor at best. The steaks were good, of course, but everything else tasted like Minnesota food circa 1992.
