Used our Pub Pass. Good service at the bar. Haven't been here for a few years, even though we live pretty close. Will have to come back soon. We only had beers this trip since we were bar hopping. Will look for 5 stars when we try the food ? The hazy IPA was great. I also liked that the menu was on Untappd so we could check it out beforehand.
Second time trying their food on location. First was via delivery and I knew I had to go there in person. Firstly, you MUST have their IPA Glazed Pork Belly! It's officially on my craving list. And so is their Steak Frites. Perfectly seasoned melt in your mouth cut of steak cooked exactly to order, fries were delicately crisp on the outside and tasty potato-ey fluffy goodness inside; but the piece de resistance was the insanely delicious whole cloves of roasted garlic throughout. My mouth is already watering just remembering every treasured bite. Original Gravity is that wonderful neighborhood pub you almost want to keep a secret and not share but even if beer's not your cup of tea, they serve a wonderfully delicious Old Fashioned. I had a sip of each of a flight of their most popular non-IPA beers - don't ask, I personally dig IPAs, lol - sometimes, you can't choose your dinner mate's preferences. Just a sip of that flight and I was greatly impressed. They won me over with their food, though, and I most definitely will be back! Don't forget, PORK BELLY! Yum.
This is a neat little bar and grill tucked behind some cool greenery. Great staff and food. And a very finely crafted Sapphire Martini- shaken.
I dropped in to watch the hockey finals yesterday, and I'm glad I did. I had the Bee's Knees sandwich and it was perfect. The bartender Chloe checked in regularly to see if I needed anything else and the atmosphere was quite pleasant. The only thing that bothered me was the bar seat...just a bit uncomfortable sitting, but that's probably because I was there for a couple of hours. Otherwise, perfect!
This place is a dream! Stopped by for lunch based on yelp. The bartender - tall man - extremely nice and friendly! Had the harvest salad and I swear it was the best thing I ate in Phoenix in 5 days. You must try this place. Incredible find!!!
I'd give them a 10 if possible. We had a small get together for about 30 people. We used the back patio area which they had ready for us. We ordered appetizers which were delicious. They were extremely attentive to our guests, friendly and helpful. They did not charge for the patio area and the charge for food and drinks were very very reasonable .
Was looking for a quick, lite, bite on a typically hot Phoenix day and found Original Gravity through Google Maps. I placed an online order for a grilled cheese and bacon sandwich which I would pick up. It was about 1:20 PM when I placed the order and arrived at the restaurant for pick up about eight minutes later. OG is not a huge bar and restaurant but it’s laid out efficiently and has comfortable vibe. I was greeted by a very pleasant gentleman who appeared to be both bartender and server. He said my order would be up shortly. After about two minutes, I was handed my take-out order. As soon as I had a chance, I opened my lunch container and was surprised to find a beautiful sandwich with melted cheese, tomato, and thick slices of bacon on perfectly toasted rye bread and a side order of fries with a wonderful semi spicy dip. I quickly realized this was no ordinary grilled cheese sandwich. Honestly it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. I will definitely go back when the opportunity arises.

Less than half of my chicken sandwich had chicken. A lot was just fried breading. The sand which was so dry. Good fries.Strange annoying noise coming from the vents where we were sitting. Friendly gentleman that helped us.No non alcoholic beers. Shame!
Great food, really cozy patio with board games. The staff was super friendly. Patio is also dog friendly!
