We ordered takeout here… a Cobb salad and veal and spaghetti … my husband went to pick it up and he said I’m really glad you didn’t come with me… he said he felt like he was walking into an old folks home. And that’s exactly what the food tasted like. My salad had some extremely slimy wilted lettuce on the bottom and I could not eat it once I found that… Would not go again.
While it is in fact a Mimi's, so you know what to expect, it is still a wonderful restaurant. He food was perfectly made. Monica is an awesome waitress and the whole staff was very personable.
We had a party of 16 last night. While MC does not take reservations we were seated immediately in a room all to ourselves. The waitress was very accommodating in every request made, speedy in service and did not rush us. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we had a variety from breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. I was reluctant to eat here for dinner but was proven wrong!
I don't like to leave bad reviews on struggling restaurants right now but areas of improvement are needed here. Food arrived burnt, then replaced with undercooked sandwich. My soup wasn't good. Others in the party liked their food though. Restaurant wasn't clean and awful sewer odor in the bathroom...masks come in handy sometimes!
We tried Mimi's Cafe without any suggestions or recommendation. The food was outstanding, the staff was friendly and service was excellent. We went back the next day and our second selections we're even better. Definitely a must visit stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Great bakery too!
Despite being busier than usual we were seated and our food was brought to the table extremely fast.Favorite spot for breakfast in the area! My wife and I really enjoy the muffins as well and I highly recommend taking some home.A little more pricey than what you'd spend at a Denny's or IHOP but not enough to discourage a visit, 5/5 stars!
Just not the place it was 25 years ago. Same interiors that now look worn out. Staff is pretty friendly. Still have a good variety but some items do not taste fresh. Like the breakfast potatoes. Taste like they have sat all morning. We usually go around 12 noon but they offer all day breakfast.
Never been here before but always wanted to go! Best choice I made that day! Service was excellent, food turned out to be much better then I expected and the pricing was very competitive and the portion size was awesome!
I've only been to Mimi's for breakfast. It's always been a decent experience. They have traditional breakfast options as well as some French classics. Their Benedict dishes have always been okay, but nothing particularly inspiring. Fairly weak coffee for a French themed place. The decor is charmingly European-ish.
Haven’t been here in a LONG time, brought back old memories good ones. Had excellent service by Kathy. Did not get the French soup however if you haven’t been here it’s a must try. Came here for brunch with friends had a 45 minute wait , however got us sat in 25 minutes. Food came out hot and delicious!
