After a long day driving around taking pictures in the extreme heat of Arizona, I decoded to take a break and get some ice cream to cool down. I walked into the shop and I was welcomed by the most amazing friendly lady at the bar. She was a pleasure to talk to, I ordered coconut and vanilla bean icecream toped with a fortune cookie in a Chinese takeout box. The two scoops of icecream was delicious and worth the $7.98 that I paid.
Great ice cream and unique flavors! I ate it before I remembered to take a picture. You get a fortune cookie too! They served it in a little box like is was Chinese food to go.

We loved this place! We felt so welcome by the owner of the establishment. He shared his fave flavors and his choices did not disappoint. We are not locals, but the vibe in the shop made us feel like we belonged. Also WHO DOESNT LOVE THEIR ICECREAM IN A CHINESE CONTAINER. 10/10 recommend to a friend!

great ice cream! the packaging is cute with the to-go box and fortune cookie BUT the box and plastic spoons they provide are SUPER flimsy. Be prepared for the box to leak ice cream and careful with the spoon because it was on the verge of snapping the entire time I ate. Also the spoon shape was not ideal for ice cream because it's too deep for the thickness of the ice cream. great ice cream though - I tried the monster cookie
Fabulous ice cream but odd that there is no provision for double scoops or at least two flavors. Exorbitantly priced.
We went here because we wanted to get some ice cream before leaving Phoenix and this establishment was highly rated. It is located inside a bar (Robot Bar, I believe), and there are no outside signs for Melt. We walked by it a few times before finally figuring it out. They serve their ice cream in Chinese take out boxes, and includes a fortune cookie on top, which is kind of fun. We each ordered a single which in fact is made up of three scoops full. My wife had horchata and I had the Mexican hot chocolate. Both were very good, but the price was a bit surprising. For two “singles” it came to $14, easily making this the most expensive ice cream I’ve eaten.
