Dark, smoky, loaded with stuff to gaze at and wonder about (all the bras strung around the bar top for example). Could be the only west Phoenix bar that allows indoor smoking. 2 billiards tables, friendly but non-BS taking bartender was there as were several regulars to day drink the afternoon away. My best friends brother raved about this neighborhood bar back in 1985 so that's gotta count for quite a lot that they're still raking in great reviews! LOVE.
Drinks are good food is good as well. They have taco Tuesday that is amazing. Bring cash for the food and jello shots
Update:Tuesday is where its at. The tacos are amazing and go well with everything else on the menu. Special shoutout to Sue - my wife speaks verybhighly ofnher, and for good reason.Definitely recommend the kitchen any dya of the week, but again, TACOS. Home made sauces. Fresh toppings. AMAZINGNESS.
One of the last places on earth that you can still smoke in...lmao... I don't think the staff really care nor pat attention to customers that are new because they know that EVERYTHING including the air tastes like cigerettes...cigarettes.... and oh more cigerettes...cigarettes.... they Patrons are all super nice but that's because they know they have been around long enough that they are barely supporting the bartenders... " meaning TIP the STAFF YA JERKS" cause new people probably wont be back... none the less I've been in there several times over the years for different reasons ie...a band playing, sneak away for one and done, meet for pool and never had ANY type of trouble.

Love this bar and all the bartenders. Owner is a great guy always there to say hello. Don't forget the best tacos in town.
I was there long enough for a cocktail. However the cocktail was good. The service is friendly. The location was busy. The crowd seemed more than content. Bartender definitely knows how to make a drink and doesn't keep you waiting.
Great food, good music, friendly staff & you can smoke inside the bar! What else could you ask for?

Favorite place on a Friday night Stef and Jess are great bartenders, I never have to wait on a beer, they make it a enjoyable environment and have personality you’re always greeted with a smile and good conversation & company. They are the reason I keep coming back, bartenders like these two girls are hard to find!
