I found this place when randomly searching for something for lunch. Wow! What a find! I had a fish and shrimp plate. It was pretty much perfect. Great fries, excellent shrimp, a piece of cod and a piece of catfish. All of it perfectly fried. To top it off, the cocktail sauce and the tarter sauce were great. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. I highly recommend you give this place a try ASAP!
If you’re looking for cockroaches in your food, this is the place! First time ordering from here and halfway through my burger, I found a small/baby cockroach in my burger. Will never order from here again.
They are consistent every single time. Food is always made to order and on point and they are so clean. I wish there were more words to describe but you have to try it to understand. I love this place.
I drove 32 minutes away from home. Looking for a Fish House like home(Texas) The service was great and the establishment was very clean. There's road construction so I suggest rolling slow as to not miss the the turn off.
If you are looking for a new type of sea food, it is better to try here and look at their menu. I ordered 4 piece tilapia fried fish and french fries. As you can see in picture it is enough for two people. They prepare it fresh and hot with very nice two sauces. ??
This was a complete waste of my time and money. I tried calling the store to let them know my issues and was ignored. First off i drove 30 mins out of my way to try this place and im HIGHLY disappointed. My gfs shrimp is raw and her fish is slimy inside. My daughters shrimp wasnt even deveined. On to my food and there is some weird seasoning and the cod is way overcooked. I want a refund but im not driving back 30 mins in that horrible construction. Someone needs to contact me. This was grose*finally talked to someone and they didnt even care. They said to bring the food back after traveling an hour both ways once already. Horrible customer service.*

Always worth the drive downtown from the West Valley! Best fish in town hands down, the only place they get the batter just right. It's easy to mess that up, no other fried fish places in town I've tried have gotten it down. It's either really bland, weird tasting or soggy. The fish itself is moist and flaky, each bite makes me want to take another. My husband found this place by chance, he was driving by and saw the Kool-aid man mural on the side of the building. He looped back around to see what it was, and boy so glad he did!
Excellent fish and service. We have been there several times and have never been disappointed. We're from the east valley and make the drive because this is the place to go for a great fish meal.
So the food is on point! For you Tourists that are wondering what to eat in Phoenix Arizona visiting YOU Must TRY Marilyn's. It's a small and Wonderful hole in the wall place with cool-aid on tap. The fish pieces are huge and you really get your monies worth! This place is family ran Alma, the cashier and window personnel is so friendly and pleasant. My only negative review is that the dessert is overpriced and way too small of portion size and I was disappointed. But everything else was worth the 35 min. drive for me!! ??❤️
