I've had the Italian sub, meatball sandwich, Italian Beef sandwich and the combo, all very good. Try the Italian beef with grilled onions and mozzarella, served on a warm soft roll, it's delicious.

One of the best in the valley! Service is always on point and food is even better

Excellent sandwiches! First time here. Ordered the beef and sausage combo. OMG! Huge! Bread was just right for the juicy beef. Didn't fall apart. So tasty!

Textbook solid Chicago spot. Exactly what you would expect from an authentic Chicago food joint. Have been here a few times and it’s exactly the same every time which is delicious. If your not familiar with these kind of places order the Italian beef sauce on side.

Night place for Chicago style sausage. Go to the place often since I am.working on a fix and flip in the area. I get either the Polish Sausage or the Italian sub. You can also get deli sausage to go. Service is always good. Parking can be a bear. Definitely recommended.

The Italian sausage was a 10/10. My vegetables were sautéed to perfection and it was even better than I thought it would be. My only complaint, and this has nothing to do with the food, is that Fox News was blasting the entire time i was there. Not sure this is a place for politics. Made me look and see if my sausage was spit on.

I stopped for the first time. Ordered a Jr Beef, fries and Coke. It was simply a piece of French bread, meat, and NO Cheese. I only at 1/4 of it. It couldv been toasted or with Provolone. Fries were good. Ill try it again some other time.

My friend is a regular and raves about Luke's and finally got me to see what all the fuss is about. Well I found out. I had the Italian sub which was the best one I've had in a long time. For me the bread is 60% of the sandwich experience and this is an outstanding roll. Apparently they get the dough from Chicago which does have a pretty significant carbon footprint but dang the bread is good. Meat and cheese is legit, veg good and dressed right. It's not cheap - I think my sandwich was $11 - but if you are looking for an Italian sub that's made like it should be, it's Luke's for me now.RECOMMEND

If I could I would give them zero stars as they earned it. I walked in (and it's been years since I was there last). I was hungry when we pulled into the parking lot, but I lost my appetite inside. 4 people sitting inside, 2 on either end of the store (they must be related to the owner), I say that because they were served food, but there was no food smell at all..weird. So, we stood at the counter and waited. After a while a man came from the back, walked past us and went back into the kitchen. Never acknowledged us. We watched him in the kitchen acting as if we were invisible. All I can say is after discussing what we wanted to order and being completely ignored, it was probably for the best. We don't need food poisoning from a restaurant that sells odorless food. Good or bad, food always has a scent. This place used to be good. Now it's a good place to avoid.

The Chicago dog was awesome. The Italian beef sandwich was pretty delicious as well. Not the best one I ever had but definitely up there. I asked for all the peppers and was not disappointed. They had serranos in the Giardiniera, which I loved. It also had black olives in it, which I thought was weird, but it worked. Definitely check it out.
