Such a cute spot, and perfect for families with little kiddos, there's a splash pad so bring your water clothes. Line was long but moved quickly, the space inside is limited for seating given the number of people waiting to be seated. There's a great patio, with misters but still it's hot( hey it's July, right?! Oh and don't leave your food unattended the birds will make quick work of it). We ordered the frittata and traditional breakfast, a blueberry scone and a dirty chai and mocha. Food was great, scone was pretty dry tbh which was a bummer. But worth checking out!
Two of us at our table out of six got nauseous during our meal Wednesday this week. We dined outside and suspect something in the mist sprayed into the air made us sick. (Phoenix was sweltering this week and the mist was probably intended to make outdoor dining more tolerable.). I felt like I was going to throw up. We both ate different breakfasts, so we don't think it was the food. As soon as we left, the nausea went away. If it wasn't the mist we breathed, perhaps the carpet releasing a noxious odor. If the carpet was new, it may be outgassing.
First time visiting. It is an amazing venue. The line was extremely long for brunch on this particular Sunday. Fun place for the family or for bringing out of town guests. Plenty of touristy things to look at and souvenirs to buy. I only had a milk shake from the ice cream parlor because I was too hungry to wait for the food line. All the food I saw did look delicious.
Kinda disappointed. First time there on sunday. The wait was not worth it. The food showed up Cold and theres was no one around to address it. Probably will not be back. Could have spent $60 somewhere else. Order the biscuit and gravy plate and got one biscuit and one sausage cut in half. Its comical that it was served toddler style and made to appear more???. Even a blind person would be disappointed. Funny but sad.
This place had been on my foodie list for quite some time! There's plenty of parking in the back lot of the location so don't be intimidated by the space in front of the road. At this location, you will find a good variety of breakfast and lunch menu items that are refreshing and otherwise on the healthier side as well. You go in, you make your order at the counter and they bring the meal to you whether you sit inside or outside. This location had a cute nick-nack/ novelty store area with children's toys, baby clothes, fun stationary and stuffed animals. Out on the patio there is a small splash pad for the kiddos and after a nice evening you can enjoy some Gelato or ice cream that's connected to the same building. My company and I enjoyed our meal and I may or may not have left with a $60 stuffed succulent plant ?
Great laid-back vibe here at Luci’s. We came mid-week during the day and it was busy, but not crowded. Such pretty bougainvillea! The kids liked the little candy store/gelato shop in the back.
When eating at Luci’s I had the most extraordinary pancakes and smoothie in my lifetime. The pancakes were even gluten-free and I’ve never had something so extraordinary. I would rate this 10 out of 10 all the way five stars this place is incredible.
First time coming here and the guy at the register wasn’t very kind. He seemed angry or annoyed over asking a question or two. And the food is honestly just ok. It’s not terrible, but It’s definitely not good either. I considered walking out just based on the guys attitude but I didn’t want to be rude. I should have just left. At least I know not to come back. The other workers seem nice but I don’t know what’s up with that guy. Nice looking shop but that’s about it. Don’t mean to seem rude. But it honestly wasn’t worth my time or money though. Spent 22 dollars and ate like four bites of my food. Same with my friend. I think it’s hard to ruin breakfast food but they succeeded. (I saw a lot of people hardly touch their food so we’re probably not the only ones) At least it’s edible. But honestly I prefer the bland food over the cashier. That guys the worst thing about the whole place.
The environment is like a wedding venue and a small food, dessert, drink, and book store type place. With small overpriced novalty items like Barns & Noble but nothing that stands out. Unfotunantly the food was the same, I got the Funky Monkey french toast it was the most generic french toast I've ever had, my freind got the Burrito Bomb and it was very bland as well. Our cashier was very rude and impatient on top of that when first came in to order while the line was very short. The rest of the staff seemed attentive but overwhelmed. It didn't seem like they had the space for what they were trying to do, the menu wasn't consistent with pricing for the drinks. Once we asked our cashier he was just as confused as we were. The charm is there but the quality is lacking. The Zen smoothy was good luckily I got it after because I could not even finish my food and I was very hungry. The cinnamon bun had good cream cheese on it but was stiff and chilled.
What a great local spot! Fantastic food, awesome atmosphere, fabulous service. All that makes a restaurant worth going back to time and time again. We went for breakfast and enjoyed sitting outside to eat. It is fun just looking around the store at all the cool gifts while waiting for your food. The breakfast was flavorful and hot. We enjoyed everything about our visit for breakfast.
