Wow, I show up at 5:45pm on a Sunday, and there are two employees just sanding there. I try to order and they explain to me that they’re closed. What!?! Closed during a prime time dinner rush with employees still there doing nothing? Their hours are listed open until 9pm. I’ve eaten here before regrettably. Food is way over priced; even for airport standards. They nickel and dime you for add one that are included at other places. I’ve never seen a restaurant with this low of average Google review score, and everyone is correct. Avoid this place and spend your money somewhere else for better quality food.
The chef at 7pm on 5/5/2022 was eating the chicken off the grill right in front of us. Walked away and came back never changed gloves continued to cook. Same guy flooded the sink while we were there flooding the restaurant. Line of about 20 people and only one person taking orders and getting it ready. Food not bad definitely didn’t get the chicken who knows what else he did to it. The guy had his badge flipped backwards so we couldn’t get his name.
At the airport, flight got delayed 3 hours so had to break down and eat airport food or risk getting hangry and a hunger induced headache. My veggie burrito is 10 29 per the menu price, so it was my surprise when my bill for my burrito ended up 16.00, the person making my burrito failed to tell me every little item from lettuce to cheese, to guac and all was extra price ranging .50 cent to 2.19 for the measly teaspoon of guacamole I got. Here's the thing there is no handwritten sign that says the extra cost per topping and its not stated on the menu either, so how does a patron know of the upcharges when the worker is just saying do you want this but not advising up the additional cost. For me the final rub was that the burrito wasn't even tasty. Paid over 5.00 in extras and the food was unseasoned and cold. A great reminder to myself to not eat at the airport or at least not at Los taquitos this place is basura.
This restaurant had the health code standards of a 12 year old’s lemonade stand. And even that is generous. I was appalled to see them flinging meat juice and cheese all across the prep area. At one point, the man making my burrito scooped something up from the black pit that they called their beans. What he discovered in that black pit can only be defined as an atrocity. He proceeded to pick it out of my beans with his fingers and throw it across the room. Unfortunately he missed the trash and hit a coworker. Moving onto the meat selection. Upon seeing the stagnant pool of oil that their chicken floated in… I had to refuse. I’m glad I did so, because I proceeded to watch this employee scoop up the chicken and hand-press the juices out of it with her fingers. And finally at the checkout… they charged extra for cheese and lettuce. LETTUCE PEOPLE. Will definitely be sitting in the aisle on my flight if you know what I mean…
I tried a breakfast burrito here and it was well made and tasty. However it is a little on the pricy side, even for airport food! Also it wasn't as filling as I would have expected, so just expect that it may be slightly small burrito.
Sooo sorry I stopped to eat here. Rice is hard, burrito tortilla is not wrapped properly so the food falls out, taste is just ok, wanted to charge xtra for cheese they didn’t include. Employees didn’t seem to care much about service except the cashier, other workers just seemed to be lost, not care much. Sorry state of affairs there.
i should have read the reviews just like everyone else is saying :(the menu SAYS the burrito and tacos are served with rice and beans (separate from what’s INCLUDED on the burrito) and when i get to pay she says it’s NOT included if it’s on the burrito. But if you read the menu,they are separate. paid $12 for a tasteless burrito. And btw everything is $1+ extra (lettuce, tomato, pico) the staples of a burrito??? nothing makes sense there.0 stars if i could. please go to Noca sand which or literally any other restaurant in the airport and you will be more pleased
Not bad for airport food. Typical airport staff (unhappy to be there, act like they don’t care). We tried the breakfast burritos, they were okay. For a quick meal in a hurry and something easy to eat on the plane this works. Their eggs, potatoes and cheese are not real warm, the cheese doesn’t melt. I wouldn’t drive down the street to try this place out, but quick and easy for the airport.
Slow as can be, charge for everything extra. Ordered tacos, but charged us extra for a tortillas. Incredibly rude when we asked why. Unbelievable.
