Just delicious. Every part of the meal was amazing. Perfect chicken (tender, with a dark, crispy, flavorful coating), great mashed potatoes, surprising collard greens, really good catfish. The cornbread muffin was too sweet for me, but it was still great. Tea: strong and fresh. Lemonade: homemade and well balanced. It's a bit expensive, but worth it.

This would be my second time eating here within 3 years and the food quality and experience maintained. This is a great spot to enjoy and I love the theme and ambiance. Love being able to enjoy a nice cold glass of Koolaid with some delicious food. Took a banana pudding to go and ate it later that night. Wouldn't suggest, but that's my B for not enjoying it fresh. Come and try it yourself ?
The food here is always top notch ?II became a pescatarian and was worried I could no longer go to Lo-Lo's, but they have so many fish options and the shrimp Mac n cheese is the best. Also had a biscuit here for the first time and it was so delicious.They have big portions so sharing is definitely an option.Service is always great and they are always busy so be prepared to wait a while before being seated.
I eat at a lot of places, and waffles are usually crunchy for the first bite but after that, good luck. These stayed crunchy longer then most other places. The flavors were good, sweet waffles mixes really well with savory crunchy chicken with some umami grits. Chicken sandwich had a good crunch, was slightly dry but tasted fine. Grape Kool aid came out a little too sweet but not a deal breaker. Our server was nice but it took forever before she even greeted us, try not too sit near the bathroom, the smell was off-putting when you catch a whiff of it.
Very, very slow service. Almost a hour and 30 minute wait only to have to wait another hour for our food. The food is good, but we will never go back. This wasn't the first time we had a extremely long wait time. Chicken was brought out before our waffles and we had to wait another 15 minutes for them to arrive. The music was so loud and I had enough of it after being there that long.
This used to be one of my favorite places to go for soul food. But this past year the Taste of the food has went down tremendously. I don't know if they got another self but the quality of the food is trash not worth the amount of money that you spend to purchase the food. My last three physics the food was nasty. A waste of my time and money.
My birthday lunch was good. I got the #3. Two waffles, two thighs, and one leg. The chicken was fried real hard but I was OK with that. Waffles were delish. They ran out of clean jars for the kool aid ? again not an issue but I thought the jars were a cool idea. The server was awesome and we let the manager know. I plan to go back.
Definatley one of my favorite waffle spots, lolos team got the recipe and they know it. Ive been to roscoes in cali but lolos take the win hands down. If you like spicy hot sauce they got you covered with an award winning sauce at every table, if its missing make surr to ask waiter. ?? I thought i could handle hot but after a while it fired me up sweating because of too much. Other then the sauce the waffles are very delicious and have a taste of cinnamon i always have to eat 2 and thats plenty.The kool-aid comes in big ball jars with free refills very yummy. To finish this review the chicken has an amazing taste, im sure somone handed that recipe down to them because its authentic. Go to lolos you wont get tired of it if thats your style of food.
