The food was outstanding! They serve this chili co queso with the tortilla chips, (complementary), and I guarantee you'll ask for more. Great entries at very reasonable prices. As well colorful cocktail choices with equally reasonable prices. Attentive service by all staff. Right on the light rail line, so park wherever you want.
I found that a lot of Mexican food I have had in my 6 months here in Phoniex.. Just isn't very good .I guess I'm just use to the way it's done in California ??♂️ But Let Me Tell You! ..Las Gloria's is an exception Simple fare but done right ?? Went in on a Sunday evening, Good atmosphere, Good crowd, Good service, Great FOOD!! will definitely be returning and SOON ...☺️
This place has a very comfortable interior but, parking is small and way over crowded.Price are responsible but the portion sizes aren't that great.I ordered the chicken fajitas and paid almost 20$ and the chicken was so thin it was almost see through. It came with a huge heaping of onions and bell peppers which made it look like your getting ur money's worth. UR NOT! Also served with a decent amount of rice which doesn't taste all that great, very soggy and tastes of to much garlic. The beans were ok.My wife ordered the tamale and enchiladas but the enchiladas were rolled with the small tortillas so a few bites in she was almost done. Portions are ridiculous. The taste is reasonable but I've had better.Overall, customer service was good. Waitress kept our drinks filled and checked on us periodically and was very friendly. Wasn't to crowded that day. I suggest if u want some really good authentic Mexican food u don't come here and if your looking to leave with a full belly and still have enough money for dessert, this is not the place.
This place has become one of my favorites to eat Mexican food. I love that they take pride in their cooking. The chips, salsa and the bean dip is absolutely tasty ?. They have several dishes I like and enjoy. The fried tilapia is one of them. Fajitas are the bomb here. If you like chili relleno this is the place to try it and I have fallen in love with it. They do offer lunch specials and specific dishes for each day.
Either Covid has hit every Arizonian and they simply can't taste food any longer, or they've lived so long in the area that they've come to settle for whatever they can eat. I mean, I don't get all the good reviews! I went to this place based on a video review whose daughter's parents owns the place... (mistake number one BTW)... first of all, I think I've come to my conclusion that you truly cannot find excellent Mexican food in Arizona. I ordered the shredded beef burrito, daughter had the Taco Salad which literally looked like something they just slapped into a dish in a prison cafeteria, and the wife had some kind of taco something. It really doesn't matter. At best the food was average. I mean, it was truly average. I mean, it was as if they left out the spices and plus, the red salsa must've been watered down . No one at my table liked the food! It's the worst experience when you gotta fork up all your cash (not including tip) for three lunch meals only to be so dissatisfied after. The service from the young gal was sweet and professional. My advice is, don't believe every positive review you read here... if you eat here and you like it, then spend your hard-earned money but I won't be coming back, and neither will most I don't recommend here either.
The whole fish is awesome. Great spin on a Cesar salad--we often order a pint of the dressing to take home. Cant go wrong with the chimis and asada combo!
I came to this amazing place with the most pickiest woman alive....and she was very impressed. The food, the service. EVERYTHING was perfect. We left very happy and satisfied!
