The best fish and chips in the Phoenix area. I come here several times a year even though I live 35 miles away. Well worth the drive. Fried zucchini are also super delicious. I can’t believe I’m saying this about fried foods.
I LOVE! this place. I eat at Knock Kneed Lobster every time I come to visit. Witch is at least once a year. It has been around for a very long time.l always know what to expect.Fresh hot fish. I live in the Pacific Northwest, I haven’t found better fish and chips than Knock Kneed Lobster. Hands down my favorite fish and chips.
We have been going there for years. Loved the fish and chips. Always perfect. They have changed ownership a few times ,whomever took over kept the same quality until this last change. The new owners have cut the fish so they look like square patties . Small and thin. Not flakey anymore. F/F are an assortment of diff cuts , not appealing to the eye. Prices have gone way up. Don’t mind that to much if the quality was the same as before. Very disappointed . Sorry to say we will be trying to find a new favorite fish place :(

No flavor! Everyone was courteous and very nice. But the food had NO SEASONING! So bland. Not understanding the reviews saying how good it is. We have been driving by for years. Husband is a native. Decided to give it try. Before we went in we asked some people if it was good, they all said they just get the zucchini. We should have listened. Waste of my time and money.
Amazing fried fish as close as you get to Ohio River fried fish. Big parking lot and easy access from the 202. The fish were big and thick so you get your money worth. Friendly staff.
I took my gf here for lunch. Cause she never aye there before. After ordering she was amazed with the portion size and how the food tasted. She suggest we can back again. Cause she like try other items on the menu. She loved the mushroom and zucchini plate. We both recommend the garlic cod plate. Absolutely delicious would definitely order again.
I used to work right down the road in the 90s and was always glad to call this one of my favorite haunts. Returning to AZ after all these years and eating here again I was both pleasantly surprised and disappointed; the fish was every bit as delicious as I remembered with the portions being quite a bit larger than I recalled, the condiments, however were a huge let down with neither the malt vinegar, tartar nor cocktail sauces anywhere near the quality they used to be. Bottom line, great fish, shrimp and chips, but rather nasty condiments.
The food was OK. The cod didn’t really have any flavor which is common but they weren’t able to make up for it with their tartar sauce, as it was severely lacking good flavor. Hush puppies were interesting but good. The fish tacos were really good. Fries needed more salt or seasoning. Wouldn’t come back for more but good if you’re in a pinch
Very basic place with great fish. It was juicy and melted in your mouth. Don't go for atmosphere but for good fish fry. yummy fish is great
