Hey hey, Happy Reading!Had a taste for soul food and was able to locate this establishment on Grubhuub.Overall the chicken was decent, crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The Mac was about a 3 out of 5. The yams..... definitely not southern at all, they put fruit in their sweet potatoes. I'm not sure where they got that from, but it's definitely not ok lol.Aside from the fruit in the yams, I'll definitely check out more of their food selections at some point ☺️
I came across this restaurant just searching for some southern food in the valley and they did not disappoint. I ordered the ribs/chicken combo with Mac n Cheese, greens and cornbread. The ribs literally fell off the bone and everything was cooked to perfection!! Definitely will be returning!!

Overrated may be fake reviews. Waste of my $30 was better off cooking at home taste like jail food only decently tasting item I bought was the sweet potato pie and macaroni & cheese. The chicken seemed like some cheap meat definitely not tender overly salty and was extremely hard to chew. Fish was hard & hard to chew as well and greens tasted odd kind of sourish. Please re-evaluate your recipes this is not soul food idk what kind of food this is
Ok my goodness. My vocabulary doesn’t go as far as the perfectly seasoned cooked food. I ordered the catfish platter and a side of black eyed peas. Amazing service & excellent food!! I ordered the 2 meat combo with double catfish, Mac & cheese, greens and the cornbread casserole. First off, the catfish was crispy!! Which I love & it was seasoned to the T! Mac & cheese was devoured in 2.5 seconds so you know it was bomb! I also tried the yams, & that had to be my favorite item on the menu!! But, the cornbread casserole was up there with the yams too!! I’ll definitely be back for more. Kass, you did your thang girl!!
Great place! Food tasted fresh and like homemade, arrived warm and well packaged when delivered, and the staff was truly pleasant. They have great energy and seem genuinely nice. My friend loved their sides. They taste more authentic and special, with lots of quality ingredients and healthier, like you'd expect from food my mom makes.
Delicious food and great portion sizes. I was so satisfied with order. Great service I received my food shortly after placing my order only. Definitely recommend if you want good southern styled soul food!!
The food is super delicious. I had the smoked chicken with mac & cheese, yams and a jalapeño cornbread muffin. You can tell it’s all homemade and fresh. The service was great too with fast delivery. I have a new favorite spot for when I’m in Phoenix, AZ!
5 star dining but…. to go!! Must check them out. My food did not make it home. And I need more of their spin on the “coleslaw”. It was delicious I’ll be back for sure!!
