My family and I have eaten here a few times and every time it is delicious. The prices are good, you get very generous servings of protein and rice with the plates and I always have some leftover for another meal. And the macaroni salad is so yummy I always want more .
Was looking for a place to eat before a concert at Ak Chin Pavilion and found this place. It was excellent! We ordered 2 trio plates for 2 of us and it was WAY too much food! Portions are huge! Would have been better off sharing a plate. Food was excellent! The bbq chicken was the favorite, but we had spare ribs, katsu, and bbq beef and it was all very good as well. Highly recommend
WAY BETTER THAN Ono Hawaiian BBQ Located at 13070 W Rancho Santa Fe Blvd Suite C-7, Avondale, AZ 85323In One Hawaiian BBQ they only give you 2 pices of chicken. But, In Kahu they give you more volume for cheaper prices.
Love this spot ! The meats are full of flavor . We literally eat here once a week on our takeout night. They only messed up my order once , they gave me a fried fish fillet instead of a breaded shrimp but no biggie I still love this place and it’s service 100% !

Great food. We ordered online for take out and it was ready when we got there. The food was delicious with generous serving sizes. I had most of the meats, the BBQ beef was a little fatty but not enough to stop me from ordering it again, the rest was great. I would absolutely go here again.
The food was great and you really get your money’s worth with the amount of food you receive here. It’s no wonder every thing is served in “to go” containers. Cause you may not be able to finish it all. I’ll definitely be coming back to try one of the other combo plates.The customer service was very friendly as well.
Me and my dad ate here for lunch, we had ordered for take out, I had the BBQ & Chicken Katsu special. It was Absolutely Delicious ? ???? the interior of the establishment was ok, I didn't like that it reminded me of a fast food joint, McDonald's, burger King etc. But for what it's worth, the food that's being served here is pretty damn good ? ? ?????? I Absolutely will be coming back for lunch again.
I was a little worried when I saw they had a drive thru, but wow!!! I don’t usually eat pork, but the Kalua pork was AMAZING. It was tender and flavorful, it also paired great with their mac salad. The prices are also very affordable
First time I ate this delicious food, it was at the restaurant and it was phenomenal! This is the second time and I ordered it to-go and it's just as phenomenal! Really tender meats bursting with flavor! I also love their macaroni salad that comes with the meal. SO. ADDICTING! I also ordered a side of spring rolls (one order is two spring rolls)I'd also like to mention how sweet and friendly the staff are! Wonderful customer service and amazing food brings me back every time I come through Arizona.
