Writing this after our third great experience at Dosa Place. Rehan is super friendly and takes great care of us. I’m pretty selective and this place ticks all the right boxes. Highly recommend.
My wife and I came in to tey this new Indian restaurant on a Wednesday night at 8PM. We ordered a mango lasibamd a tumeric lemonade. It was nice.We ordered a vegetable samosas for appetizers...it was good.My wife ordered an order of garlic naan and chicken tika masala and I ordered the special boneless biryani. The chicken tika masala came in first with the naan....then 5 minutes later is my biryani. The food presentaion is great and it actually taste good too.The service is lacking. They host needs to speak up louder and the server needs to checknon their tables (well, we were the only two people there). We have to ask for extea sause and water more than twice.Well, we will give it another go.Will see if there's any improvements with the service.
I went to this place for all you can eat Dosa night Wednesday. The dosas were good. You can choose from 7 or 8 different dosas. The sambar and chutney tasted fresh. Best part was it was not too spicy and you were able to taste other flavors.
Fantastic food and service. New management is caring, quick and professional. Spicy as in flavorful spicy as opposed to hot food. The chef deserves a separate 5 star for his work.
I love Indian food, but this place was a miss. We wanted to try a new Indian place that wasn't too far from home. We ordered goat curry and it was very salty. Mango lassie was given in a small cup and tasted like it came from a bottle. Actually all the food tasted like it came from a package. If you want to try real Indian food, try India oven in Mesa; worth the drive.
Delicious food, really spicy in a great way. The service was a little slower than I’d like especially since we were the only ones there but the food made up for it. Overall great food, good seasoning, good selection. Would return!
If you are trying something new don’t go to this place . I ordered Biryani they just added lot of rice and few pieces of meat that’s all ..it was horrible..no taste it was dry and just some masala that was mixed with the rice..don’t waste your money.. I even paid extra but very disappointing I called and asked them the lady started arguing..that it is the way it’s supposed to be ..pls don’t go here if you are trying something new or if you want good food ..it probably is ok for regular customers who don’t know what good is like..very bad I would give it a 0/5.
Had a good experience at Just Biriyani. Place was clean and tidy. Although their menu doesn’t list Dosa’s, you can ask and they usually serve 4-5 different kinds.Pros:The masala dosa was really tasty and the chutneys were good too - will be going back for more. They have a lot of Biriyani’s to choose from and the meat was tender/cooked to perfection.Cons:Wait times can be a little high depending on time of day you visit. Staff shortages seem to be another common theme in the restaurant industry these days so plan to get there early so you are hungry by the time food arrives.
Simply poetry! A completely memorable meal with the right touch of spices and care put into each dish. Beautiful atmosphere too but it's all about the biryani and other dishes! You can tell this is food that is prepared with true love for creativity!
Horrible food experience. Only go here if you wanna eat biryani everything else including any drinks is either not fresh or not even closer to any Indian food taste.
