Oh man! Talk about delicious! This joint is worth every second of the 35 minute drive from our house to their restaurant. It is juicy, tender and mouth watering. If you haven’t been, go, go now!We didn’t try the ribs or collared but they look and smell delicious. I can’t wait to try these on our next visit.Pro tip: do t miss out on the cobbler dessert
The brisket was perfectly tender. The Cole slaw is creamy and a delicious thing to pair your meats with on a hot day. Outdoor and cool indoor seating options are available. It's 15 minutes from the airport, so if you have a layover in Phoenix and are looking for a place to stop, this place is in a good location.
All I can say the food was excellent.. very tasty and delicious. If you're a big fan of nachos I suggest you get the brisket nachos the best I will definitely be back...
Absolutely DELICIOUS!!! JL Smokehouse is the BEST smokehouse and definitely my “go to place” when in Phoenix. Rib tips, pork ribs, beef brisket, chicken, & links were all DELICIOUS! Rib tips & pork ribs were the BEST I’ve EVER HAD!!! When I first tasted the rib tips…I screamed…loudly. The rib tips were so very DELICIOUS!!!
Everything was perfect! Got the brisket sandwich and it was delicious. They are extremely generous with food portion, I mean it was a lot! One thing I didn't like was the sandwich bun. Yeah and don't forget to try their dessert!
Guest service is phenomenal!! Food is delicious, I ordered a pork belly sandwich and a brisket sandwich and I got full from just the pork belly sandwich. The portions are very generous and it reminds me so much of living back home. The meat is so tender that you can shred it with a plastic fork. The smoke on the meat is really good, you can tell that love and passion really goes into the food. 10/10 highly recommend!!Thank you for exceeding my expectations!!
Don't show up late in the day because all the best food will be limited. This place is a hidden gem in Pheonix. The feel is quaint, the staff is nice and the food was amazing!! I'm sure I'll be back here when I come down again. A place you must try!!
Might be my top BBQ place in AZ now. Found this little gem in South Phoenix and so glad I did. Friendly service, awesome food! Will definitely be back!

Best BBQ I have ever eaten! I had the brisket sandwich with mac cheese and greens and it was all delicious and I don't pork and the owner reassured me that he doesn't cross contaminate his grill. I live in California and his bbq is definitely worth the drive. The service was also excellent the owner is A good Brother
