The food and atmosphere was very nice. Ingredients were of very high quality and meat slices were generously thick. Prices were reasonable and for the quality, highly overtop places like Subway and Mike's. Will visit again if I come to uptown phoenix again.
A Phoenix hidden gem. Family owned with a beautiful location, building and patio. Historic building with tons of character and charm. The sandwiches are top notch and large portions. They sell beer as well. Can't wait to go back.
I ordered a French Dip, there was exactly 3 pieces of roast beef on the whole sandwhich. And those 3 pieces looked like scraps as they didnt even cover the bottom of the sandwich. So for over $10 for a sandwich it was definitely not worth it.
Cute family owned restaurants with outstanding food are hard to come by. This is one for sure. Locals is the area love this spot. Bring your appetite!
Quick bite for lunch. Nice toasted Italian sub. Reasonably priced during these plandemic times.Phoenix steadfast. Definitely check them out.
The food is amazing. The price point is decent based on service and food portion. I love the authentic chicken sandwich and the bread is toasted to perfection. Not a five star just because of the decor and furniture being really old. Other than that everything is on point.
Wow. Meatballs were a 10/10. Sub was 10/10. You should go and enjoy yourself TODAY.
The best Italian subs and sandwiches in Phoenix! The marinara sauce on the meatball sub is the bomb. I also got the half super hero which is always a delicious classic. It is Family owned for forever and the food tastes like it was cooked by grandma.
I love coming here for my lunch breaks! The sandwiches are delicious, I especially love the bread! The employees are all very nice as well, the vibe is welcoming, amazing place! Glad my coworker brought me here one day!
My husband and I have been coming here for 35 years. They have the best subs anywhere. And the Theodoropolous family -- Gus, Mary and Ted -- are the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. My only sadness comes from the fact that we moved to San Tan Valley nine years ago, and rarely get to eat there anymore! Thanks for all the decades of great food and friendship!
