Great deli and butcher! We Don't have many butchers here in PHX. Hobe is awesome We had the pulled pork sandwich for lunch very very good then went over to the butcher's side and drooled over all the cuts of fine meat the prime tomohawk cuts are just amazing.We recommend BIG TIME!8 STARS out of 5... ?
The deli is great! One of the top places to grab a quick and delicious lunch. It’s fairly priced and the staff are awesome.
Stopped by yesterday as a first timer and was helped to pick out two great filets. These were single handedly the best steaks I’ve ever cooked at home. A little salt and pepper, and they seared perfectly. World class steaks!
Careful where your buckets are stored. I just got a nasty text from someone in that bucket that is sitting there with my name and number on it is from Hobe’s meat. It’s in Payson Arizona where doesn’t belong! Very disappointed!
Deli counter full of Boar's head products and they also serve specialty sandwiches. I had the Dreamy Draw on a pretzel bun served with a side and a drink . They also have a meat market side with a wide variety of meats and fish. They have aged meat that is aged right there at their location. I ended up buying lunch and getting a couple of steaks for dinner later. I will definitely be back.
This is a top-notch high-end butcher. I used to see places like this on the East Coast. They have some fantastic aged meats. I had their barbecue brisket sandwich and it was absolutely phenomenal
Not happy, Sold me expired fresh turkey breasts plus 10 lbs cost $80.56. I called to confirm they had fresh turkey breasts and not frozen.I picked up on 12/23 so we could eat on Christmas. When I opened the package, I was **shocked** the label was dated to sell by 12/20. 3 full days before picking up 12/23 and it ruined Christmas dinner.
I heard about dry aged and was skeptical. The always helpful staff hooked me up with this cut and it was AMAZING!!! Seared both sides and cooked indirectly to 115F internal temp. Let sit 10 mins and split with a homie. What a great experience, thanks Hobe Meats!
I was Very disappointed when I got home and cooked what I thought was the most beautiful 5 bone prime rib. It was the first time I had bought a $300 main course for my family to eat. I was so proud of my purchase and what was going to be the best Xmas dinner I had ever cooked. Unfortunately, my happiness dwindled quickly after the second carve. I have never had to cut around so much fat in my life. I grew up on prime rib for dinner, I'm not an amateur when it comes to good meat. This was extremely disappointing and a waste of $300.
Love this place! Best jerky and meats in town! Also the customer service has been the best I've had recently. I tried this place on a whim and ended up loving it. I've been back several times since. Just a heads up this isn't your cheap, super processed gas station jerky. It's quality, fresh jerky and worth every penny! I'm a customer for life
