Love the food and folks here but kinda perturbed at the location right now. Drove 24 miles to have lunch here last Saturday only to be greeted with a sign on BOTH doors saying "we are now closed during the summer ALL weekend long!" At almost $6/gallon this sure put a damper on our weekend. We ended up going to Honey Bears BBQ (one block North) but its no-where near as good. Guess they needed our $50 lunch tab more than Haps did!

If you’re from the south, you will not like it!!! I order brisket sandwich and peach cobbler. It taste like they use cinnamon roll for the crust for the peach cobbler. The brisket sandwich was on a sweet bun. I prefer Texas toast or just sandwich bread. This is definitely not good.

Do your tongue a huge 'F(L)AVOR' when you are in Tempe. The only thing better than the brisket, is Kristine and her crew's service. The brisket sandwich I had for lunch, oh I was full for sure. But the rest of the day, I flat out craved more. So... I went for dinner too! Just go, you'll know.I will see you there soon.

Me and my coworkers just came here for lunch, it was 10/10. The sauce? *french kiss* The corn bread? Taste just like home, and the Ribs/Rib tips and Pulled prk, mouthwatering. Literally everything fell off the bone, juicy good. PLEASE TRY IT! We will be back! My friend loved the Rib Tip sandy so much! He said its the best he's ever had.

Average BBQ. The place was packed at lunch as this place is in the middle of an industrial/financial park area. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich which was OK but on the greasy side. Service was friendly and fast, but there's not enough to pull me back. I wish them well as this is a very tough and competitive business.

Some of the best BBQ in town. All of it is good, though the brisket, ham and chicken are my personal favorites. The beautiful smell of smoked meats lets you know you're in the right place as soon as you enter.Bought Thanksgiving dinner from them last year and we'll be doing that again from now on. :)

It really is some of the best barbecued meats I've had. I'd recommend it to anyone. I got a two meat platter with potato salad and the other side had to be either cornbread or toast. Cornbread was dry and flavorless. Paid $18 for this little platter and I know it's barbecue but I just felt a little underwhelmed.

The lady at the counter was extremely friendly and personable! She deserves 5 stars. They must have some regulars here because she knew several of the customers that came in by name.Unfortunately, I wasn't a huge fan of the meat. I had the meat sampler that included 2 ribs, 2 pieces of chicken, and then I chose hot links, brisket and lamb. They home made a special lamb sauce that was excellent. But the lamb itself did not taste good. The other meats varied from greasy to under seasoned. I just wasn't a fan compared to other bbq places I've been to.I likely won't be back, but clearly some people are liking it from the loyal clientele. I'd suggest trying this place for yourself.

Stopped here during my recent trip to Phoenix with my husband and our two friends who live in the state. The ribs and brisket were so delicious! We all enjoyed our meals and would definitely recommend it if you’re in the area.

Arge and Al are a winning combo in service and quality. A shame I live in Peoria now. It was worth the drive. The food is always on point, and every bite is a Mouthgasm.? I said it, and I mean it.? Found this place shortly after coming down from Payson. THIS is what Az Bbq is all about. Start here, and good luck with the wannabes.????????✌?
