We go to this place regularly. The falafels and fries are usually pretty good. The lentil fatoosh salad is not their specialty but it’s still a good place for a quick bite. I always call ahead and it’ll take them about 10-15 minutes. Really lovely people
I really wanted to like this restaurant, but I was disappointed in my food... gyro was seasoned right with good portion of meat, however it seemed like my pita was thrown in the microwave.. it was falling apart and was not charred on the grill the way I've had it at other places. As a matter of fact, the whole entire gyro tasted like it was microwaved. Also, fries were soggy by the time I got home, I live 2 mins around the corner from this restaurant.
Not very good as far as taste goes. Also the chicken fingers and fries look like they were bought frozen. The staff was friendly at least and the portions are large.
Really good beef/lamb gyro, even for the price. Pretty good portion sizes - The salad had LOTS of meat. Small shop but pretty quick service.
Good gyro and fries. Very small, friendly place. The kits are interesting, I will probably try in the future. Currently have to work around some construction, but it is worth it.
This park is really awesome and such a beautiful Community as Claremont it is so wonderful to be able to go to a huge recreational center with so many large field and see them actually all pretty full most of the time I have seen and played almost every kind of sport I can think of here and I would allude to that there is much more coming the rec center seems to have been under construction process as well as the local schools in the area so I'd imagine that they will be fully functioning as before very soon I think there is lots of room to volunteer and get involved around here either as a facilitator coach or a client of the rec center. I really love how well they maintain the grounds seems like they spend a lot of money maintaining the pool and the field the baseball diamond and all of the area it is kept very clean as if there is no debris lying around and very little trash. I love the secret gems that you find like the huge BMX Trail down behind that is free to the public to come and launched their bikes High into the air and have lots of exciting fun. I love that people are so respectful in this area and tend to really get out of one another's way so everybody can have lots of fun and really enjoy the facilities whether it be extreme sports or just some gentle dancing and movement. Some of the stuff I have seen there is karate for jiu jitsu classes I have seen swimming I've seen lots of kids playing at the park of all ages I have seen the courts being constantly used for tennis pickleball basketball and baseball and I'd imagine this is just seasonal events and will rotate through football soccer Frisbee and other things that are often there I'd imagine if you went to meetup.com you would find some great events and also the rec center is online and I have both called them and emailed them and even contacted their social media with questions that I had about getting involved in volunteering as a disabled veteran with lots of time on my hands. This is all I can really think of to say about this park I think it's really super duper duper family friendly and if you're looking to move to this area or get involved this is a great place to start I understand there are many schools in the area and many recreational parks canyons and all kinds of different places
Two words: Steak. Fries. Also, two more words: Online. Ordering. My favorite neighborhood gyro place next to a gas station closed a couple of years ago and I have been on the hunt for its replacement ever since. Finally hit the jackpot today! Gyro pita with feta-y tzatziki sauce and tasty, Chicago-style gyro meat and did I mention perfectly cooked steak fries? I mean, c'mon! I also tried to the chicken platter for another meal, will report back with any updates. Small spot, impeccably clean and easy to miss (especially with the construction) but worth it!
Everything on the menu isabouslty delicious and fresh.The best homemade food.Must try.
Very tasty and genuine pitas you can get at large portions for good price. Very much recommended!
Prices have gone up a bit, but still delicious and the best place for a gyro. Definitely get the baklava cheesecake, it's life changing. We usually get the 6 gyro kit with lamb and chicken!
