Dim sum hour(s) are sheer frenetic madness that I can't wait to try again. I discovered I could still order off the regular menu which was great because I for sure showed up for the salted fish and chicken fried rice which is getting harder and harder to find. Everyone was courteous in explaining what all of the dim sum was and since you're charged by the plate (like revolving sushi), leftovers happened. It was delicious and I look forward to going back.
Huge restaurant with good dim sum. I prefer my dim sum fresh and hot but we got most of our items off the carts so nothing was overly hot. Still good tho. We got steamed veggies, shu mai, har gau, taro balls and topped it off with sesame balls for dessert. All items were flavorful and generous. Prices are on par with other dim sum restaurants we’ve eaten at around the country.
We came here with another family. This was my first time attempting a Dim Sum scenario. The place was packed and there was a line to get in, so plan accordingly. It was a Sunday, so I'm not sure if they only do Dim Sum on the weekends. Call ahead just to make sure. I tried so many dishes that I've never had before. I didn't enjoy all of them, but the ones I did like were fantastic! Be adventurous!
This restaurant offers good dim sum. The restaurant is spacious so it is good to accommodate large groups. The price is reasonable.
Food is good and not to far of a drive, try a bit of everything. The duck is my favorite!!! Also the spare ribs!! One thing you will not be is disappointed.
This place is pure chaos. We waited to be seated for about 10-minutes. There was no host to greet us or be seen. We waited patiently, but no greeting. Later we saw people just seat themselves. So just ignore the "Wait to be seated sign."Once we were seated, women started rolling around carts. We had asked for menus but none came. I asked multiple waitresses how it worked, but got no answer. I know it was due to the language barrier. We finally got a waitress who spoke some English and got a menu. The food was good. We ordered two small plates from the women rolling the carts around and the the D1 combo that came with a cup of soup, then 1 deep battered shrimp and 1 egg roll. The combo's are enough food for 3 people to share. We each took one of the sides and had more than enough to eat from the main dish. The picture posted was after we each helped ourselves. We ordered tea for the three of us. This all totalled 30.00, which isn't bad.The price for lunch was not bad.I would say if you speak Chinese then you won't feel so lost. All of the menu's and writing everywhere was in Chinese. The tables were close together and it was loud and chaotic. It was not a fun experience.A friend recommended the food, but it just wasn't worth the experience.
We ordered some for pick up a week and half ago For the quality of the dim sum was disgusting, the bean curd tasted old and had a fishy taste, the portion of the roasted pork and roasted duck for the dim sum menu was a joke. I felt like I got ripped off compare to paying in person as everything cost a whopping $110 dollars!!!! The most expensive dim sum I’ve ever had. I could get more portions at the Phoenix palace (which by the way is the best dim sum in phx for half the price) the meatballs was rare on the inside and didn’t even eat the rest and threw it out. The rest of the food was not even good. The young Chinese dude at the front counter was very rude and I asked him to itemize the items on my receipt but just kept ignoring me.
Have visited here several times before, but haven't been since the last couple years due to covid-19. I got to tell you, best experience I've had there yet. Everybody was kind and friendly and explained what was on their cart. Had a great time. Good size portions of both dim sum items, and menu items. Can't wait to go back
Not sure if inflation but price keep raising. I ordered roast pork and is quite disappointed. Lack of meat flavor and pork skin is not crispy enough unless you put in airfry.
Walked in new to the place. We were seated but given no menus. A couple of servers came to our table offering unidentified items. Still no menus, but we were willing to try. Finally we spotted what looked like take out menus, so we grabbed them. Had to flag down a server to order. It was crazy ?. Finally ordered some items. No Chow Mein or House Fried Rice on the menu. Cashew Chicken and Egg White Fried Rice with Scallions were delicious ?
