Just spent over $60 here for really bad sushi. We couldn’t finish it. Imitation crab is in every roll. Did they buy it from the fry’s next door?? We should have went to RA since they have real sushi for less money. :(
Went here for happy hour and tried out three different menu items. The gyoza was delicious and I will definitely be back for more! I also got Salmon sashimi and a California roll. I will have to explore more of the menu but the gyoza will be a must order item for now on.
Absolutely fantastic! We arrived early and really didn't want to wait 30 mins for it to open but I'm so glad we did! Very clean and friendly! Spicy miso was so good we ordered one to bring home. Everything we had was very tasty.
Food would have probably been good if we weren’t given a 35 timeframe for pickup. Got there 5 minutes early, no “hello.”, “how are you?”, “Welcome, thanks for spending your money here”. You know, typical acknowledgment. I was just handed several tickets and asked “Which one?” ? Got back to the house, which is 3 minutes away, to find the food had probably sat there for 20 minutes, considering the place was absolutely dead inside. Garbage food and garbage service. I won’t be back.
I really like this place. I've been coming here for years, and it's probably my favorite sushi place here in the East Valley. I'll even drive out here all the way from Ocotillo. The sushi is great, and they have an amazing value in their bento box dinners. My daughter loves the food too, so this one is a win for the whole family!
Much better sushi now.I been going there for 7 years and recently have new people working and better sushi.Table service needs some help, the place is nice inside.

I have dined in, ordered to go and picked up myself, or used the delivery apps. Regardless of how I’ve ordered, it’s always been a good experience and quality food. Not sure about the reviews saying the front desk is rude, as that’s not been my experience. They are always accurate with what I order, are quick to have it ready at the time they say, and are polite. They’re not the stereotypical overly emotive hostess type, so maybe that’s being misinterpreted as “rude”, but it’s simply a different type of service. They’ve always been respectful during my visits. Thanks Ginban!
This has been a standard in Ahwatukee for several years with good and fresh sushi. Reasonable for the price but the service is lacking anything that feels welcoming. Looks like I am still looking for a good sushi place.
Really great sushi. I eneded up getting two apps, spicy tuna tartare and jalapeno tuna, with a side salad since I tend to judge places on simpler items and this place does not disappoint. The rolls were good too (shared). Honestly, not pricey when you consider and compare any other east coast sushi location and trying to get quality ingredients here. So for being in AZ, quality and service- 10 out of 10!!!!
