Just check in at 4:00pm. Front desk lady was extremely helpful. It's not a 5 star resort but the rooms are quite nice for the price. The location and the views are amazing. I will stay here again.Update, one thing to add. They have a towel shortage. Still not a deal breaker for the price and location. But something to thinking about. Either pack your own wash cloths or hope they have some available in stock.
The hotel lobby is nice, but the rooms are dingey. I asked to change rooms because our curtain had large stains. The second room was worn and in need of updating or maintenance. Our shampoo option on the shower wall were conditioner, body wash, and body wash. No shampoo. Restaurant was supposed to open at 6, but didn't. No coffee in the lobby in the morning. The guest in front of me struggled with her checkin process because she believed she was charged twice. Stayed a few days, then changed to a nicer hotel.
The people at this location were so nice and welcoming. The room was nice and big but was starting to show a little age. Overall it was still a great experience. The property was nice and had plenty of parking which was necessary for my box truck ? the bed was comfortable and they had great coffee in the morning. I was very happy with my stay here and I would definitely come back if I was in the area.
Very convenient location. The hotel is nice, good customer service, the room is good enough, beds are really comfortable and the shower pressure was very good. I didn't like that rooms are connected with a door to the next one so a lot of noise can be heard from one room to another.Room includes a coffee machine, refrigerator, tv and bathroom facilities like body lotion and makeup removal napkins.Good breakfast is offered. (Additional price)
I must have had one of the nicer rooms/floors in the building per some of these other reviews. The furniture is outdated and needed a cleaning and an upgradeThe bed was very comfortable I've ever slept in.Sheets and linen were clean Carpets were fine.Very QuietThe balcony could use some chairs. The light on the balcony should be able to be switched off, or allow the blackout curtains to fully close! The bathroom was not cleaned, and the Showerhead had mold. The only issue I had was when I brought it to the hotel staff's attention then for me they could not do anything because there were no more rooms, so I went out and purchased cleaning supplies to fix the issue myself
Positives: Fast check in. The hotel staff was responsive. The staff provided good direction. The hotel also has good signs and directions provided on the hallway and right outside of elevators. Easy parking. Easy to find location. Negatives: The carpet is old, and the room looks dark, no convenient electrical outlet. The initial room assigned to was dirty and gross, then they moved me to another room, and was better. The tea bags in the room look old and worn. Must have left in this room for a long time, not fresh. Loud fans with squeaky sounds. Unclean desktop in the living area in the room. Others: Lobby looks good doesn't mean the rooms are good. Photos from online can be misleading, can look new and fancy when in reality, it's old and run-down. Don't stay here just because it's a Sheraton, it's not at par with 95% of Marriott facilities. Unless the housekeeping does a better job and rooms are renovated, I would not stay in this hotel again. There are many other decent hotels nearby and in the Phoenix area.
I had a backup reservation at this hotel because I could not get into the main location for my business conference, which was several miles away. When I arrived, I learned of an opening at the main hotel. Jarrod was very understanding and accommodating and did not charge me for the cancellation. He assisted me with all of my needs and provided excellent service and understanding of the situation. This saved me a lot of hassel, as well as uber/taxi rides back and forth, and made my travel companion, my elderly mom, feel much better too. Thank you Jarrod! The hotel lobby was very nice and this location is close to the airport.
**OCTOBER 24TH/25TH 2021**I must have had one of the nicer rooms/floors in the building per some of these other reviews. The furniture was a little dated and needed a cleaning once over. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in.Sheets and linen were cleanCarpet was fine.QuietThe balcony could use some chairs. The light on the balcony should be able to be switched off, or allow the blackout curtains to fully close!PLEASE SEE IMAGES
Check in was extended as another patron had an issue and decided to leave. This was late evening, so not the problem of the staff. Another couple came down to purchase bottled water, I later found out why. The property is nowhere near Marriott standards, at least for rooms. Everything is dated. I didn't have access to COLD water on the sixth floor. Outside of my shoes, nothing touched the floor. Would not recommend, if it wasn't for the time and being tired I'd have left like the first patron.
When I arrived front desk registration was slow due to them having only one front desk attendant checking in multiple people. Attendant was friendly and told us he's been on the job a few days. He was struggling with the key card machine and several people were complaining about keys being deactivated and not working on rooms or outside gates. First time I see a hotel use separate keys for room and gates. Most of my other stays key card for my room would open the gym or pool gate as well. Lobby was clean and typical Sheraton or Marriott Lobby. Parking was free and there's plenty of parking on the property. The moment I stepped into the 4th floor is where I noticed a difference. It's like I stepped into a time machine 20 years back. Hallway carpet was dirty and walls and doors looked old and cheaply painted. Room was very dated, old furnishings and the bathroom was very small. Carpet was dirty, drapes were worn and the bed had hair from the previous guest, I assume. Spent three nights with no maid service and a half roll of toilet paper. We were told if we wanted extra towels or toilet paper we would need to request it. Why? If you're charging $200 a night, I should not have to call the front desk to request toilet paper or to have my room cleaned. I get tired of this scam at hotels that tell you they wont clean your room daily in order to "Save the enviroment" or "Save Water". Thats a bunch of BS and everyone knows it. If you are not going to provide the basic hotel services then you should not charge business class rates of $190+ per night. You should charge cheap motel rates. Anyway, this was a terribly disappointing stay and I will no longer be staying at a four points Sheraton property. It was easy to notice this property is poorly run and in financial trouble. I was in the Hotel business for 25 years and I know a poorly managed and distressed property when I see one.
