Staff 10/10Food 10/10Music 10/10Don't be shy, they're very accommodating. It can get EXTREMELY busy so if anything goes wrong, they do everything possible to make it right. Just a nice atmosphere, good people abound. Try the freakin' Gus sandwich it's so dang good.
Stick with the frozen pizza, way cheaper then this knock off, crust was cardboard after a very long wait, the pizza had very little flavor to make it worth the price. The ranch was very much worth the 50 cents tho! Burnt and cold mozzarella sticks. Very disappointing.
The food is really great. Reminds me of home made, not corporate. It's delicious, priced well and the service is 5 star plus the place is super clean. The picture is the BBLT it's a bacon bacon lettuce and tomatoe. Really great sandwich. The bread is on is outstanding, toasted yet soft and very fresh.
What a hidden gem! It gets better once you walk in and go to the back. That's where the bar is. When we left, the back bar area was completely full with people in the middle of the day on friday. A few people were sitting in the front of the restaurant. It was quite the midday hangout! Perfect place to sit and relax. Oh, I almost forgot how awesome that pizza was! I have to mention that.
Amazing Pizza! I would definitely recommend the Big Johnson! The owner Joe is awesome as well. We will be enjoying pizza from here regularly. Thank you to all the staff for a job well done!
This place seems like a local watering hole where the neighborhood regulars drop in for a beer, or 4. The bar is set in the back and was pretty active and lively but not too loud. The restaurant area is kind of dark and dingy with outdated decor and overduefor some care. We stopped in to try their thin crust pizza and some wings. The wings were pretty good, cooked to a perfect crispy and drenched in traditional Buffalo sauce. The pizza was a miss for us. The thin crust was just a little undercooked, even had a gummy bite to it. No crisp to it at all, so it was sloppy. Since it was tavern cut, we avoided the center pieces and ate around the outer edge. The sausage was good. The flavor was good. It just wasn't a good pizza. The staff was delightful and we had friendly service. They have an expansive Italian menu, reasonable prices, and lots of great beer options. This place has been around a while and is probably a neighborhood favorite.
We ordered over $100.00 in take out.The order was wrong. They denied that we had even placed an order over the phone. Then, they found our order.. The salad we ordered was NOT given to us, as they did not have delivery as an option. So we had to go back a second time for the salad, that I had paid for.
Great food & friendly service. Awesome neighborhood pizza place, with great live music!
This is a little neighborhood gem that was establishing 1993, I love their little story. Joe, the owner was so nice and came by to introduced his self, love that.Taylor was absolutely amazing, so smart, friendly with big beautiful eyes, I can’t believe how she could keep track of not just our party that was quite large, her section was very big. We enjoyed our pizza although the crust could’ve been more crisp. A fun Neighborhood place where the people are friendly.I WOULD RECOMMEND.
Pizza was great, and the staff was so friendly. Oh the live open mic ?, fun and really good playing and singing. So glad we came here. I will definitely be going back!!Also, while it does have a bar it is family friendly. So bring the kids, they will have fun too!
