Got the farmhouse, no ham and had to wait 10 mins to get my food when some employees were talking.
I’ve been here 3 times now, haven't waited less than 20 minutes yet. Today after I order the 4 people behind me got there food before I did. I waited a solid 25 minutes. It’s a busy spot and I’m a patient person but, they also had 9 people working I wouldn’t call that “understaffed”. it’s next to my work I want to like this place so bad. Finally get my order today, bagels burnt. I’ve never written a review in my life but, come on.
Its a shame this was a good place to meet friends. The staff is uninterested and it shows. It starts with your staff to be welcoming and your customers will return. Drop the masks let's see people smile once again. I understand this was one of the top rated stores in the nation.
IT SUCKED!!!!!! Aside from the HORRIBLE counter service (the girl taking orders is stupid) the order was wrong and made terribly at that. The customer before us had to have her order remade because hers was wrong. When my husband went in to show the disgusting lettuce and such added to my incorrect sandwich, the 2nd counter person crumbled it up and threw it in the trash before the even stupider manager was allowed to see it. Manager did nothing, counter boy yells at my husband who walked out after being confronted with what he did. Lettuce was old and slimy, wrong bagel, not toasted, etc etc. etc.. what a wreck of a restaurant.
Absolutely terrible experience. Placed my order on the mobile app at 10:30am. Got to the location and it was packed. Said they had received my order and was working on it. Got my sandwich and HOUR LATER after I had to go up twice and ask “are you sure you received it/working on it? I’ve seen everyone behind me receive theirs?” When I finally asked for a refund because I needed to head to an appointment, they said they were working on it and I watched them make it on the spot. Sooo they weren’t working on it or received it prior even though the reassured me they did. Sandwich was fine, but not worth an HOUR for 1 bagel sandwich….
I am a huge fan of their Texas Brisket bagel sandwich. Best bagel sandwich ever! And it was FREEEE for my birthday today. What a great start to my day.
This is my saddest Einstein Bros experience. I thought the downtown Tempe location cheated on the amount of cream cheese they put in because of the student population at ASU. Even airport locations load more cheese. This is a rip-off and then there’s no option to “not” tip even though you’re taking out. Could have just gone to Fry’s to get an equivalent bagel and a whole tub of organic cheese in less money than the $5+ I paid today.
All the other locations close later. We came thirty minutes before closing, but the hours on the door said 1pm while online and Google said 130
I go to Einstein’s 1-2 times a week, and this location just disappointed me today. Asked for 2 sides of sauce and they gave me 2 quartered filled containers instead.
Always kind & on point service but definitely slow. Sometimes there’s a line of 15 people waiting after ordering & they stopped curbside pickup.
