Pub-Bar style setting within the Renaissance Hotel. Restricted menu with very few healthy options. Our food was well presented but greasy and plain with no culinary value. Minimal choice on wines. Very disappointing!
We were in Phoenix, we were out walking around town and found this place. The staff was very friendly and great service!!!
This is a great place to meet friends. There are many tables for large parties. There is indoor and patio seating available. TVs are throughout, so you can watch a game from any seat.I ordered a burger and loved it. The staff wasn't very attentive. The waitress forgot part of the order and had to come back and verify.Street parking nearby.
Great atmosphere and decor. We had the omelet and fruit salad for breakfast, both of which were very tasty. They also serve lunch/dinner. The only thing is that breakfast does not come complementary with a room at the Renaissance.
wow what a sad experience! the only good thing about this place is the gorgeous interior design. other than that don’t even bother coming here unless if you’re going to enjoy a drink by the bar!i ordered chicken salad (super basic dish right?!) and the chicken came as if it was cooked yesterday, with zero flavor too. i asked the waiter for another piece and 30 minutes late it came just as bad lol.the focaccia was beautiful on the dish, but the bread was very soggy and it didn’t even come hot… anyway the service was slow too although the waiter was super nice.
Food, beverages, atmosphere were great. We sat at the bar because it was an odd time of day and thought we would get faster service there. When we sat down the bartender was serving drinks to another couple who had just sat down. We acknowledged us and said he’d help us in a moment. 15 minutes went by and we were about to leave when he took our drink order. He brought new glasses for wine and beer he left the old ones. He took our appetizer order, quickly forgot and asked us again. I would understand this if they were short staffed but there seemed to be a lot of people behind the bar and it was before the dinner rush. Gradually the service got better because another fellow that came on was helping us. Food was terrific!
The food was delicious and the waitress was awesome! Drinks were good too!
Went for a Sunday breakfast in downtown PHX. A very interesting looking bar and eatery, from some unusual furniture and ceilings - and leatherbound menus. The breakfast menu isn’t extensive, but the Eggs Benedict w/ Pork Belly was tasty. The potato squares were perfectly crisp.
Got the brisket tacos , highly NOT recommended, unless you want slabs of fat with a tiny piece of tough meat? I’ve been in the food industry for 15 years and never seen nothing like it. I came with a group and will say what the others ordered looked good.
Charlie is the best server we had in a long, long time!! The food is great: try the Chocolate Cherry dessert. And the atmosphere is very friendly. We’ll come back soon!
