Fantastic food and the staff is super friendly and on top of it!Leave the wife at home, it's you and Guiness bonding time here.Support Irish, go here ???
My favorite almost dive bar, great hangout spot, local and not presumptuous. Great food options and excellent spirit selection. Loads of bar space and game options
We went for a late dinner and a drink. My gf had the Reuben sandwich and I got a plate of fish and chips. The sandwich was good and real big, the fish was a generous portion, though I didn't care for the coleslaw since it was a little dry.The ambiance was a calm, had music playing but not intrusive. They had ESPN on the main big screens and the Angels were hosting the Bluejays on the other. It was unusually calm for a Saturday night, but that's because of the holiday weekend, I think. There's only one pool table, and three dartboards. Cool things that you don't see everywhere are the foosball table and shuffleboard tableDefinitely a place to go!
More authentic pub. Food was great, took a little longer to get to table than expected. It was delicious.
This place has been a favorite for a long time. The inside has had many renovations for the better but the same feel-good vibe has never changed. I highly recommend it for an easy-going night out of the house.
Really disappointed. Tried for the first time last night. Not only did they forget an item in our order the phone was busy each time we tried to call to correct the problem. We had to drive back to get a refund. The food portions were extremely small for the price. The paper was stuck to the bottom of my big cookie. The Shepard pie was unlike any I've ever had and not in a good way. The meat was the consistency of the mash potatoes and there might have been carrot shavings. It was bland all together. Maybe the experience is better in person but I'm over it.
I went here tonight 04/01/2022. We arrived at 6:30 pm. Waited to be seated then finally seated ourselves at an empty dirty table. I cleared the table myself after waiting 10 minutes for someone to arrive. No server came to see if we wanted drinks so I went to the bar and got drinks myself. A waitress stopped to bring a menu then never returned to take our order. I flagged down the bartender and placed my food order with him. We waited 2 hours and never received food. Finally we got fed up and went to a different restaurant. I do not recommend going here!!!
First time going was an ok experience. Second time was not ok. Great to go Irish, but it was like going through the potato famine all over again. Waited 40 minutes for nachos. Staff checked on us more than 20 minutes after food was finished to tell us it will be at least 30 minute wait for more all you can eat fish and chips. Is this a tactic by the restaurant to not have to serve all-you-can-eat fish and chips? The waitress clearly took a very long break and our food was waiting, as it had that extended under heat lamp effect. Sorta warm, but dry. Waitress appears out of nowhere to clear a table, but doesn't care about the people that are already there waiting. If I knew the fish and chips would take 50 additional minutes after the other food arrived at the table I would have ordered more from bartender since waitress was MIA. So overall disappointing.
We made the mistake of trying this place for St. Patrick's Day because we wanted real Irish food. We went mid-afternoon, expecting crowds later, but we couldn't even get in for standing room only. We're older....not happening. So we turned around and came back the next day. Service was very slow and sporadic. BUT the food was great and the beers were good and cold. I had shepherd's pie which was different. The meat was marinated and tasty and there was cheese on top of the mashed potatoes. I would get this again. My hubby had the Irish stew and he is particular about these things but rated it highly. Will return....but not on St. Patrick's Day.
My server was a little over worked, and I get it. I feel like it took away from her customer service part of the job. Food was like I don't care food. I had the potato skins. But because it's looking so long to get me something else that the main course I wasn't hungry anymore I ordered a beer and she also bought a shot of Jameson lucky for her to I like Jameson pool table cool area there were people there so I'm sure the food is pretty good I would like to try the shepherd's pie but they were all out. I definitely would like to give this place another shot honestly the pool table plus because I like to shoot and grab some pub food but shepherd's pie being from Boston but sure would like to try here in Arizona. So I'm in the middle on this one and I get the times it's hard to find good people to work customer service for any job you work for and when you're waiting on people I get it that's why I left her a $12 tip on a $24 check. Let's not forget we're all Americans we're all here we all work so let's not forget the poor leaving the impression on someone you never seen before. I may stop by for St Patty's Day see the wild side.
