Dark Hall is at the top of my list for coffee in Phoenix. It has a great atmosphere for doing some computer work or meeting in pairs of 2 or small groups to sit and enjoy a coffee together. They offer nice outdoor seating options as well that will be awesome in the non-summer months. The coffee is extremely high quality - I would highly recommend their dirty chai, both hot and iced. The pastries are really incredible too. We had the chocolate cake with frosting in the shape of a skull that was really tasty. This location has only been around for a few weeks and I’m already looking forward to making this a regular morning stop.
What a great space! First the aesthetics are gorgeous, plenty of parking in the area including a gravel lot across the street, the service was excellent and the coffee was absolutely delicious. Definitely a perfect spot to grab coffee and a treat.
All vegan and yet they still have a better selection of pastries than most cafes. Macarons, cookies, cakes, all delicious and fresh and unique. Their coffee is also incredible. Highly recommended!
Absolutely brilliant coffee and pastries, their in-house made oat milk changes the way I'll have coffee. Macarons were flavorful and just the right touch of sweet. As we're the Dark Chocolate cookies. I had the Mocha Latte which is perfect without adjustments. I could drink a keg of this and never get tired.
The new location is beautiful! Excellent customer service with a great selection of treats and drinks. It is clear that a lot of time and energy went into the thought process of making this space comfortable and accessible. This is my new regular hangout.
Vegan treats & great coffees to be had at this spot. The lavender latte is perfect - not overwhelming, just the right amount of flavor. Their cookies and cakes are all amazing here.
In town from California and we needed a cute place to enjoy coffee with friends! Honestly kind of a sketchy area, but when we went in it was a nice little place. Not a whole lot of seating inside or outside. The baristas were friendly and super super fast to get our drinks out. I had a matcha latte with oat milk, it was yummy :)
For the longest time I avoided coming here bc of the mask restriction.. When they finally changed the restriction, I went to work on some biz matters but realized they don't have power plugs for the public.. They also don't have restrooms for the public..It's a bummer that they are the only vegan shop open early..Their tea w/shot of double espresso (they only offer double) was great!! ?, however, very over priced..The gluten free sweet was phenomenal!! No complaints..
Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had, truly a 5 star experience. Found this place on door dash one morning and ordered often. Why the 3 stars? After not one, two but three bad experiences in the store I refuse to return. I felt extreme pressure to tip, and not only that I have to vocalize my tip. Everywhere you go, they turn the screen or give you privacy in deciding, not the worst part though. The blond 20something that works mornings makes it extremely clear of your displeasure of your choice of tip and makes a loud “NO TIP” announcement.Honestly, I can’t say enough the best coffee I’ve ever had door dash it though the service is lackluster, and lack of respect is not worth an in store appearance.
Definitely a favorite place to go whenever I'm downtown, and I love the rotating selection of edibles. Paid them a visit near closing time too, and the service was great all the way up until the end! Such nice folks here, and if you are a regular you get noticed!(The only thing that my goth friends are curious about though, however, is why this shop closes so early, because wouldn't goths love to stay open late? Their words, not mine.)
