I love the chicken fry chicken with green beans mashed potatoes with extra white gravy and fried okra and awesome service for a low I paid for two plates plus tip 38.00 dollar's it was so awesome and delicious
I came here with family to celebrate my grandmother's birthday. I was a little disappointed in the lack of service but I understand there aren't enough employees staffed. The food quality on certain items has decreased as I noticed items ordered looked nothing like the picture on the menu. There's room for improvement here and sadly I don't think the restaurant is entirely to blame. I still come here to eat because my family loves it, especially the grilled fish. We also like shopping in the store because there are some neat finds and yummy goodies.
It's hit or miss here. I've gotten the chicken and dumplings before and they were good. The last time I ordered from here, however, I got the roast beef and that didn't go well. I ended up getting a large slab of fat with a bit of beef around the edges. The little bit of beef there was tasty but since it was mostly fat I didn't eat most of the meat. The sides were still good, though.
food took a very long time to get the food, then , we got less than past visits. also how many biscuits should you get with the biscuits and gravy, today i only got 3 but the rest of the time i have been given 5, when i asked the server, she said i could add 3 more for $2.99. also again when we asked for more bread for the rest of the table, 3/2.99. when did this change go into effect. i never had such a problem getting breads or extra breads at your stores.
They have beer and wine now.
The food was not as good as I remember. Chicken & dumplings were watery & tasted like it came out of a can. My husband ordered the meatloaf special & did not like it. Waitress was nice but had too many customers to be attentive.
Nice Cracker Barrell location with friendly staff and quick service. The Chicken and Dumplings are good, served in a large portion. The Loaded Sweet Potato was surprising with 2 huge toasted marshmallows on top! If you’re allergic to nuts ask to have them leave off the pecans.
I had a great experience here, as always. I had just got done with some lab work that I had to fast for, so I made a beeline to Cracker Barrel when I was done. The food is always great and very affordable. There was a mishap with my order (they brought me green beans instead of turnip greens) and the lady apologized and got it fixed right away, and I got an extra vegetable out the deal! The food always comes out quick, too. Love this place and I’ll keep coming back again and again.
Absolutely superb the food was excellent
This is an awesome Cracker Barrel. We started off with loaded tots (Amazing) I ordered the Sampler: Meatloaf (fantastic) Country Ham (Not salty like most hams are) and Chicken n Dumplings (Best ever!!) Hubby ordered the chicken fried Turkey (Insanely good!) Service was wonderful. Go there and enjoy, you won't be sorry!!
