Unique coffee establishment built in a vintage gas station . Located in the heart of Melrose district in downtown Phoenix. Both the locals & pet owners are seen relaxing on the patio. Indoor seating is also available. The employees are extremely friendly and courteous. They offer delicious meals and beverages. My favorite is the Blueberry Matcha Chiller with oat milk .Several vegan options on site.Local artist display their items most are up for sale. There is also a drive thru if your in a rush.Kind of old school there is no intercom system the employees come out to ur car to take down your order. So be patient it's worth supporting this small local business.Dietary restrictions: Several vegan options and dairy alternatives

Excellent vibe and super great prices. Good art and music and the staff (and customers) are really friendly. Also some solid outdoor seating and misters setup, very treesy.Only major complaint, there's a good number of flies buzzing around, especially by the garage door. Might just be because of the heat right now, but it makes it tough to be productive in here. Copper if you see this, invest in some fly traps and I'll edit for 5 stars.Overall, cool spot, very affordable, come check it out :)

Amazing local inclusive coffee shop and bakery that I am obsessed with. An incredible variety of ice teas and you can get free refills all day long, how can you beat that! The staff are amazingly friendly and kind, and everyone that comes to this coffee shop says hello. I’m a lifer and could not recommend this establishment more.

My husband and I like trying coffee shops around this valley and Copper Star was a great find. The coffees are not overly sweet which is the issue I find at so many other places. The environment and staff is great as well, very friendly and coll anesthetic!Since it was our first time we also got free pastries which was neat! I got an iced tuxedo mocha and a chocolate chip scone and my husband had an iced white chocolate mocha w/ peanut butter syrup and a cinnamon bun.We will definietly be back!

Small neighborhood coffee house with an awesome vibe. Great coffee and pastries, breakfast sandwiches and lunch offerings. Everything is made in-house. The everything cheddar scones, berry smoothies and iced espresso's are my favorite! ❤️?????+. All are welcome.

Can't share enough about how amazing this little slice of heaven is. Coffee, tea, bagels, cookies everything is super high quality and delicious. The staff is ALWAYS polite and such a joy to interact with. Daily stops are the highlight of my week. 10/10

Great coffee, awesome staff. Busy Saturday morning today, still got my (unbelievably good) lavender mocha quickly. Tiniest wait for my bagel (in the gorgeous sun, who can even complain), and it's a great day. Tip well and be kind, they deserve it.

Really love this local spot. The bagels are handmade daily and the vibe is great. I really really want to give you five stars, but the FLIES are a big problem. They crawl all over you and your food while you're trying to eat. There's one crawling across my screen right now as I type this review. Halp! I want to love this spot. You guys are great.

I hesitated to order at first because of the environment - their fan is filthy (I do not use that word lightly) and caked in dust (a metal floor fan directed at the coffee prep area), one of the pastry cases was left ajar and a fly was just hanging out inside (hovering around the inner base where LOTS of old crumbs were trapped between the glass and the metal bottom of the display area), the stainless steel fridge had a visible layer of grime where hands commonly open it, etc. I figured they had a good rating - so maybe it had just been a wild day. I ordered pastries (no coffee) and left - only to get home and see that the individual that served us had applied a $2 tip. They had announced the total, never mentioned gratuity being included, never asked if I wanted to leave a tip - just completed the transaction. I don’t care about the tip, I have no desire to dispute it - it just bothers me that they didn’t say anything to me. I think I have become too accustomed to pressing/selecting a percentage - maybe I missed a sign. The pastries themselves were okay - the blueberry crumble lacks tartness and so the overall product is just overwhelmingly sweet. The taste is good, but the missing complexity makes it tiring to finish. I might return to give it a second try - especially since it is inclusive and the food menu looks promising. Hopefully the second time is the charm.TLDR:Needs some deep cleaning. Charged a tip without mentioning anything. Pastry had good flavor but was somewhat bland.

This place is really special. We walked, but the drive through looks quite fun and convenient. We all got coffees and were quite happy. I had a bagel (probably one of the better ones I’ve had out west) along with a cinnamon bun (INCREDIBLE) and a PB Whoopie pie. I’d highly recommend a stop by this area if you’re in the neighborhood.
