Their online menu is incorrect. Doesn't Iist 2 pc combo and to add cheesy jalapenos is $2.99, not the online quote of an additional .30€¥¥ (big difference). I love their spicy, crunchy fried chicken and this place has the best chicken on this side of town. KFC can't match this. Church's also makes the best biscuits and has the freshest, juiciest jalapenos. Their drive thru speakers are somewhat garbled, and you must both verbally and visually double check your order BEFORE leaving. Lately, this place hasn't been doing a great job in mixing their soda mixes or having enough spicy white cooked meat on hand. And, wuzup with their wings? You get a breast w a beat up looking arm. This restaurant used to be the only place you could buy a (whole), wing. The majority restaurants sell you a wing piece (wingette) for a whole Wing price! They also really push their mashed potatoes over French fries, so again double check your order.Omg, I went here last week. They were closing 2 hrs early, because of short staff, and only had chicken sandwiches available. I agreed to kill my craving. That sandwich with Chipotle sauce was gross. In retrospect, that sandwich with a small mashed potato and drink was outrageously priced at $9.
Usually I'm one who yells at my husband when he's being an a-hole but this place deserved it. The lady barely acknowledged our presence and clearly hated her life while working there. So, my husband let her know about it. Go f-yourself as he said it. It wasn't easy to convince him to get churches (childhood memory for me with my parents and him not liking fast food) but I did and this was the experience we got. Even McDonald's employees seem better than the ladies (girls with their behavior) here. If you hate your job that much try another.
It was the best I have had in my 41 years honestly. I'm originally from STL where Churchs Chicken is a big go to. But here it was fresh, not cooked in old grease and the service was amazing ?
my first time going to church's chicken and it was at this location so i dont know what the other ones are like. we went through the drive thru and we waited 20 minutes just to get our food. they gave us all the wrong order but gave us spoons for the mashed potatoes we were supposed to get and my sprite tastes like watered down sparking water. waste of money. dont go to this location
I just had an issue at this location. I went through the drive thru and when I got my order I was missing some of items. So I park and got of the doors were locked and it had a sign that said that the dinning area was closed starting at 7 and this happened at 6:50. The manager looked straight at me and just turned the other way like if I was not there. It wasn’t 7 yet so he could have opened the door. The manager name is Jesus. Definitely not going back to this location.
I love the food. Sometimes they are to busy, the corner to get in to the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired and the construction makes it that much more difficult. I hope that the city is compensating this restaurant for the business lost cause of the inability to get into the parking lot. I hope they don't close cause of the city's super long road construction
On my way home I decided to stop for some chicken tenders that I was craving and Church’s sounded good.Unfortunately, this location as always was closed long before their posted closing time and the employees hid out of view in the back. They even posted a sign on the drive thru call box to order at the window. This is not a new occupancy and happens every time I try to stop by around 8 PM to 9 PM even though they have their closing time as 10 PM.On several past occasions, the employees have been visible in the lobby and kitchen area, all just sitting around talking and ignoring customers in the drive thru.I have come by during the day time before, but even then I find the quality of service to be POOR.Almost always, I have to repeat my order numerous times because they can not get it right, then when I pick it up it is still not right but is far too much trouble to try and fix. Also find that my charges sometimes have been higher than what they should be for my order, especially when the food is poorly made and not to the level of other Church’s locations.Until the owner/management get their act together, I suggest avoiding this location even if it means having to drive further to their Scottsdale or one of the other Phoenix locations.
Ordered thru uber eats. The store didn't pay attention to my special instructions on not to leave out my biscuits. What did they do? They left out my biscuits and my apple pie. They do this every freaking time.
If I could rate it zero stars I would. I ordered on my DoorDash app for pick up and said it would be ready by 7:29. I go though the drive though, just to be told “we don’t do that” when I’ve ordered picked up before at this location. So seeing this place did not even bother canceling my order, there are chances I don’t even get a refund. Word of advice of who runs this place. You may want to remove this location from DoorDash so you don’t waste peoples time and you def are going to run into a person that won’t take “we don’t do that” as answer. What a joke.
I didn't think an order could be so badly missed. Unfortunately it was all missing stuff - which leaves some grandchildren hungry and the rest of us in search of a place that can handle customer communicationI just learned that my credit card was hit for $20 more than the amount quoted. I guess I've "learned my lesson"!
